Really nice little coffee shop. Great music on the turntable, delicious coffee. Especially pleasant in warm weather when you can sit outside in the garden under the acacia tree. Sometimes gets crowded since the space inside is tiny. Can be full of kids in the afternoon

The cashew milk latte is so delicious, especially paired with those amazing chocolate truffles. When I visit Eugene, Equiano is always a priority pit stop because their coffee and beverages are the best. Not to mention, the management and staff are always welcoming and put a smile on my face.

This little coffee shop is near and dear to my heart. I appreciate the wide selection of single origin coffee beans and the simplicity of the menu, which aims to highlight each coffee's natural flavors and values quality over quantity.

Personal touches like the Lego coffee shop built by the owners' son alongside an elegant Italian espresso machine and intricate tile work, make the atmosphere of the shop a perfect balance between cozy and classy.

Give Equiano a try for yourself and you'll see why it's a neighborhood favorite!

Excellent coffee in a hip part of Eugene. Family owned, friendly vibe. My favorite coffee anywhere. Top quality beans, roast and espresso equipment.

Among the best anywhere! They roast their own single origin coffee. They care about coffee as much as we do. When traveling i-5 it is SO worth going a couple miles off of the freeway to get here! Thank you so much to the owners for a pleasant visit and wonderful coffee excellence, we will be back! -Brooke & Ken from Olympia, Washington

Let me first say, for me, coffee should be its own food group because ot varies so much. Equiano is incredible. The main (drip) and press (espresso) vary daily so take a moment to talk to the staff about how you like your coffee. They take time to do that and you have options. They even provide samples if unsure, saving you a less than perfect experience. Outside they share with a neighboring business a great courtyard to relax in. The Whit-neighborhood is known for great coffee houses and Equiano is at the top!!

My favorite coffee shop and coffee roaster in Eugene! They roast & serve Eugene's best coffee in my opinion. Delicious single varietal coffee and espresso from small farms in Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala and Vietnam. And the Equiano Coffee tasting room in the Whiteaker neighborhood is beautiful. Highly recommended if you're in Eugene, Oregon!

The coffee at Equiano is pretty good. I honestly wasn't blow away after the hype I've heard. They are also the most expensive coffee in town. I visited with my family and the atmosphere was stiff. We seemed unwelcome, which is strange as we are friendly, polite, paying customers. Probably won't be going back.

Excellent beans that really do taste like the advertised notes. Some of the best coffee you will have anywhere in the world. Eugene GEM!!

This cozy nook is the warmest and yummiest coffee spot in Eugene. Owner and roaster Okon serves up the best beans and the entire crew pays loving attention to pull only the best shots for you. The chocolate ganache for mochas remains unmatched, homemade cashew milk simply delectable, and the outdoor courtyard beneath the mimosa tree saves you on mornings when you need a bit of quiet beauty. The space attracts the best people all together creating a warm, it’s your town environment. Love.
