Great beer list. Great crowd. Great music. This place is a fun place to have a drink and hang out. I didn't try the food, but the menu looks interesting.

A nice place to sit outside (with a dog or two) and enjoy a beer on a Saturday afternoon. The spinach artichoke dip is delicious -- spinach-y and artichoke-y without a lot of other stuff in it.

Beer selection was way too hop heavy for my tastes (disclaimer: I top out at 35 IBU and usually drink below 25). If you're into that, they'll probably make you happy.

The soup this weekend was appalling: thin, lukewarm, and sugary, like watered-down ketchup. When I let the staff know how awful it was, they shrugged and said they serve it "because it's vegan". They didn't offer to replace it. Indifferent food with indifferent people - give this place a pass and try Laughing Planet or Pegasus instead!

Clean and aromatic. The 16 Tons Cafe (formerly The Supreme Bean) straddles the classic Pacific NW combination of coffee cafe and craft-brew bar. Although there is certainly no local shortage of this type of business in the Eugene area, few would-be competitors can boast a location with evening hours amidst dynamic South Eugene neighborhoods; the Woodfield Station parking also poses a definite plus. The atmosphere ranges from bustling social hub to relaxed workspace.

A mixture of metal tables and polished wood benches contribute a contemporary, modernist feel to the space. One drawback for professionals and students with computers is the lack of available electrical outlets (the generous number previously available, during its tenure as Supreme Bean, were removed during the 16 Tons remodel). Yet its selection of outstanding coffee from Water Ave. roasters in Portland, fresh crêpes, rotating regional taps, and other menu offerings is worthy of a devoted clientele.

The espresso machine goes to bed at 6pm, but a frequent series of vibrant events (wine tastings, trivia, etc.) keeps the 16 Tons Cafe a happening place.

$18 for a 16oz Americano, 8oz hot chocolate and 2 16oz chais?!
All the drinks were disappointing, except for the hot chocolate which went to a 5 year old and of course it was "good" 😐
Little coffee places that charge an arm and a leg for mediocre product just really piss me off, have some pride....and make sure you train your batistas, it's not just pour and serve.

Good, intense coffee. Mellow atmosphere. Good food, crepes. A wee bit on the pricey side. Serves nice beers and wine too.

It's always nice to be treated with such respect. I have breakfast here about every other week and the12 oz mocha is one of the best I've ever had!!

Their crepes are lovely!!! Had both the breakfast crepes and the sweet ones in one meal! Will be going back for sure!

Egg sandwich costs nearly 10$ and was fine. Should have just went to McDonald's lol their breakfast sandwiches are comparable.
