Quick hit with the family on our way out of Eugene. Good place for a vegetarian breakfast and it also has menu items for the carnivore.

Great morning drinks.

Self serve kind of place.

I have come here for quite a while and it's always been satisfactory until recently. The other day I came in and ordered my usual crepe (goat cheese, pesto and avocado), but when it came there was no avocado on top. There have been a couple of times where they forgot it which is fine because they brought it out shortly after.

The last time this happened I asked if the avocado was inside the crepe or if they forgot but they told me that they were out of avocado (the ones they had were rock hard so they couldn't slice it up). This was pretty disappointing since that is 1/3 of the fillings/toppings and really makes the crepe. I expressed my feelings of wishing I had been told beforehand so I could have ordered something else and then asked if there was any kind of substitute I could get and the waitress said there was not.

This was really disappointing that I was charged the regular price and wasn't given any option for a substitute. An extra side or an egg on top would have been a great substitute but I was pretty flustered at first and didnt think to ask for it after being told no. I ended up going next door to the market and buying an avocado since I was really looking forward to it due to my rough morning. It was nice they were willing to let me get one and cut it up for me but was still very disappointing I had to do that in the first place.

That whole event basically left a bad taste in my mouth but I didn't want to give up after one bad experience so I came in today and the prices have raised for most everything which is understandable for a small local business and that wasnt upsetting but when I received my crepe it was much smaller and had less filling than usual. I'm not sure if it just happened to be that day the person making it made it differently than usual or if the person in charge instructed them to add less to save on the budget. Overall it was pretty disappointing having the prices raised and the quantity/quality go down. After these two experiences in a row I feel that I have given up on coming back out of fear for another disappointing experience.

Maybe one day in the future I will come back in hopes things will be better because I really did enjoy this restaurant a lot and I hope anyone going here gets to have a good experience like I used to have.

On a positive note, everyone there makes excellent over easy eggs and I have never once been disappointed in them.

This place was disappointing, the grilled cheese had barley any cheese and they advertise two cheeses mine clearly had one. The soup is obviously just cambells tomato very plain and served cold. My boyfriend got a pulled pork and they didn’t even put pork they served it with chicken cause they ran out, then on top they just squeezed raw cold bbq on top and it wasn’t even enough. 26$ I never wish to spend again

I love finding "new" places (new to me) an I was looking for something this morning, avacodo toast. When I found this place I was excited to try it, I really loved the price for it. Usually it's more of an "expensive" food item but I was beyond happy with the price, as well as finding somewhere that does crepes! What!! I haven't found crepes in eugene nor that good. An I'm so excited to bust out all the flavors you guys have. I'll definitely be coming back with friends an family. Staff was very quick, clean an sweet!

I often go here to do work on my laptop. The ciders are good, the coffee decent, and the crepes delicious. Lack of outlets and only one large table which is typically taken over by only one person (that’s where one of the two outlets are.)

The food offered lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options. The kitchen is small so expect a small wait to get your food but it worth the wait. I couldn't get enough of the gluten-free BLTA-- super tasty.

fresh and hot made to order crepes... we got sweet breakfast ones, but next time i want to try one with a savory filling.

Black Widow

One of my favorite little tea houses. Fantastic tea choices, also ciders and coffee. Small menu and ample seating inside and out. Staff is super friendly.

edit: owners refunded my crepe & the piece of paper was a random, honest mistake (hard to see paper wrapping on brie cheese)
& adding a star because the food is actually great...Just need to get your employees to clean the tables and not let dishes sit there for an hour...or touch ppls food after touching $ or other stuff...
I was going to leave a great review, because they have gluten free options & the buckwheat crepe is delish. I don’t mind paying $18 for a crêpe & drink At the restaurant that has quality ingredients and tries to source locally.
the food tasted really good and the only complaint I could’ve had was the fact that there were hardly any customers but the employees did not pick up the dirty dishes from three empty tables, which sat there for at least an hour... they came out to delivered food but never picked up any of the dirty dishes and cleared off the tables...The management should teach them “full hands in, full hands out”

But! Then I found a piece of paper in my Crêpe. & it took a really long time to give me my replacement crêpe ... when I went in I noticed the young man who took my money and was touching registers and canisters and I’ll kinds of stuff was cooking my new crêpe and went to pick it up with the crêpe spatula and used his hand to balance it 🤦🏻‍♀️and the other young man was touching my avocado

So I’m concerned that the young people here don’t care that much about cleanliness and since we’re in a pandemic they really need to make sure before they touch foods that they at least sanitize or wash their hands… Every time

Lastly it’s kind of ridiculous that I paidTwo dollars for avocado and I got three little slices
I understand the paper was a mistake, and the food was delicious...But it’s really worrisome the lack of care and cleanliness

2last things: The buckwheat crêpe was delicious until a got the piece of paper
And the employees were very nice and offered to replace it

The hot chocolate I ordered seemed maybe not stirred enough ...there was about teaspoon full of cocoa in the bottom of my cup

When I got there at 8:30, they were pretty slow but it had started hopping by 10. No one bugged me for hanging out sipping on my tea. The sweet omlette was tastey.
