Allan's Coffee & Tea

The good news is the energy drinks and food they offer are consistently great, and the whole bean coffee and tea they sell is really nice. However, this place is really hard to rate higher as they can be very inconsistent with how their espresso turns out. One day it could be really nice and have all the hallmarks of a really good darker roasted espresso. Other days it tastes really bitter and burnt.

Casual coffee shop near campus. Decor could maybe use a little upgrade as it does feel a little dark and cold inside. The drinks are always well made and enjoyable, though maybe a little on the sweet side. Overall a nice place to come and get some work done.

The espresso is awful. Get a cappuccino or latte and don't add any sugar to it and you'll see. It's burnt, bitter and acrid. If you're a coffee shop and you don't have decent espresso then it's a no for me dawg. I can think of at least two other places in town that pull awesome espressos that don't need to be drowned in sugar to be drinkable.

Best chai lattes in Corvallis! My boyfriend got a mocha and he said it’s the best mocha he’s had in Corvallis. I’ve lived here for 5 years and I haven’t been been in here too frequently. The breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito are really good as well. They recently reopened after covid and its my new favorite coffee shop!

Easily the best cafe on Monroe. For the record, it looks like most of the negative reviews about this place are from during quarentine when they got some publicity around a group of cops coming in and refusing to wear a mask - after the governor put the mask mandate into effect. It's too bad a few cops expecting to be above the law and policies of the state caused so many people from out of the area to pretend to have had a bad experience here. At least Corvallis is small, so everyone that actually lives here knows this place is great.

The coffee is delicious and the customer service is wonderful. It’s too bad that people who don’t want to wear a mask to help others at risk would also try to sabotage a small business with so many one star reviews. Seriously the best Mexican mocha ever. :)

After I entered my review I decided to scroll through the others. I was surprised to see a number of negative reviews because everyone I know has enjoyed going to Allan brothers for years. When I looked closer I noticed the majority we’re all submitted during the same time frame. I find that a bit interesting
