Stopped here on our way out of town, awesome breakfast and friendly service :) Biscuits and gravy really hit the spot!

This place is like sitting in your grandma's house, really cute. The waitress was so warm and friendly and again just made you feel like you were family come to visit. The food was good home cooking and we left full and satisfied. Also you can get little portions of meals if you have a smaller appetite and they even have poached eggs which are hard to find anywhere!

Sweet little spot, great breakfast and the regular grilled stuff. This place is a bakery as well and the baked goods are divine.

The food here was great. We arrived at 10:20 on a Wednesday morning to find the place packed and a line of people waiting for a table. As I waited to out my name down for a table, I overheard the chatter of other customers with the friendly staff. Lots of locals eating there, which was why we decided to wait an hour to get a table for our party of 6. The place is tiny and not much to look at. We were finally seated outside which was perfect for us. We had: chicken strips, a cheeseburger, clam chowder, pancakes with strawberries, a Denver omelette, and biscuits and gravy. Everyone cleaned their plates and sampled each other’s dishes. My 10 year old also got a giant chocolate chip cookie to take home.
As noted in several other reviews, it is cash only and not posted anywhere. But my husband was able to walk over to the Shell station and use the ATM and so it wasn’t a problem.

Cash only, wasn't mentioned when we walked in. Usually we don't have cash on us. Luckily today we did. Had the biscuit and two eggs, gravy was gross kinda cold. Tasted out of the can. No seasoning. Eggs fine needed salt too. But was definitely a cheap breakfast

Great food and good prices. We enjoyed our breakfast and bought a loaf of bread to go. The sourdough was excellent. We will definitely be visiting here again. They do not accept credit cards so if you plan on going bring cash.

My and my boyfriend had gone to the coast for a little beach getaway and in the two days we were there, we ended up eating it twice. The food is so good and authentic that we think about it often. One of their great foods is the steak sandwich and you are getting a rather large steak for not much at all. Definitely a restaurant I would go out of my way to get again.

**BEWARE** This place does not accept credit cards. Cash or check only. They don't have a sign on their front door telling you that either. Luckily an extremely nice couple paid for our breakfast.

I would give this place 3 stars because of the friendly people and mediocre food, but no one ever reads a 3 star rating. I wanted to warn people of the cash only policy and you may not run into someone as nice as my wife and I did.

That caught me by surprise. But there is a gas station at the corner where you can use the ATM. The gas station clerk said they don't do cash back, so you'll have to pay the ATM fee.
The food is great but skip the O.J. it's made by Dole and has a weird banana/pineapple aftertaste which isn't bad if that's your thing and I'm not here to judge you or your weirdness.
I had the chicken fried steak with eggs over medium and they were perfect.

Heads up; this business is CASH ONLY! My boyfriend and I came in for lunch today and it was delicious. Good fish & chips and turkey sandwich! Amazing customer service!!! The server was so incredibly kind! Best customer service I’ve ever had by far.
