We were looking for a good breakfast spot in Pacific City and this place had pretty good reviews. All in all, it was definitely tasty but kind of a weird atmosphere. It is setup almost like someones dining room. It's a very homey atmosphere and the hot food (as well as the wide variety baked goods were all delicious).

We split a raspberry Danish to start and then I got Spinach, Bacon, and Cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes and a biscuit. My girlfriend got scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon. Everything was really good. The omelet was perfectly fluffy and the biscuit came with great whipped butter. I would definitely recommend getting that as your "bread".

Village COFFEE shoppe loses points for subpar coffee. It was very watered down and I ended up getting coffee from the gas station across the street.

PRO TIP: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. And there is no ATM. Be sure to stop somewhere to get cash first. No Venmo or PayPal either.

All in all, this was a good breakfast and I liked that we were eating amongst locals as opposed to the yuppies on vacation. With that said, I wish we had tried somewhere else.

Great home cook breakfast with fresh products. Made to order and home made sweet rolls. The bacon was crisp and the eggs were perfect. The owners were personable and friendly. Get there early a small space but a expansion menu. We will be back. Cash only but very affordable.

I don't usually write reviews but this little tiny restaurant/coffee shoppe has by far exceeded my expectations, which if I'm being honest, isn't easily done! Staff was very welcoming, and everything we ordered was absolutely AMAZING! Great eggs Benedict - probably the best I've ever had!

I had pregnancy cravings and village coffee shop sounded great plus their prices were excellent. I had heard amazing things about their breakfast so I called to place an order for pick up. It was pretty clear that the phone call was not important to the person that answered. I was put "on hold" (the phone was just set down and I could still hear all the sounds of the restaurant and the person that took my call talking to others). After five minutes of waiting I hung up and thought I'd just call again. Now all I'm getting is a busy tone indicating that the person still hasn't picked up the phone from my original call. I was looking forward to breakfast from here and a little bummed about being ignored.

We decided to forego a place down the road that we like to try this place. Photos of the food looked really good, and a great overall rating.

The corned beef hash was very bland and dry. It was made with canned corned beef, which is fine, but not flavorful at all. I also ordered sourdough toast…the toast was also very bland. Not salty flavor or “sour” flavor. The gravy was very thick, canned gravy. The only thing I enjoyed was the service and the coffee.

We were also surprised when we went to pay the bill that they don’t take cards……there’s only a small sign on the register. I don’t feel that’s right to do, but I guess it prevents people from leaving due to not taking cards.

Likely won’t be back.

This tiny cafe was really amazing, I fell in love with it. I ordered chicken tacos, an oatmeal bowl and biscuits and gravy. All the food was hearty and delicious with large portions and extremely value for money. The servers were so warm and friendly. I definitely recommend visiting here instead of some of the other larger establishments in the vicinity.

Friendly service and staff. They even brought my dog some water. It was nice that she was welcome there, very convenient. my French toast eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. And I wasn't rushed out of there. Service was the smile, highly recommend this Gem of a place.

The BEST scrambled eggs I've ever had. So fluffy. Not a big and fancy place... But the service and the food is outstanding!!

Tasty food, super friendly service, great atmosphere. Food smells amazing as well. Make sure to grab the chicken fried steak, you won’t be disappointed.

A very authentic American eatery
The best burger I had in years.
Very nice service.
They purposefully keep it feel “real America” “Ike Oregon coast used to be”.
I also like their logo:
“A little drinking village with a fishing problem”
