Schwietert's Cones & Candy

A sweet tooth heaven. Full of candy from all over and a wide array of ice cream flavors, fudge, popcorn, drinks, and chocolate. The staff do the best they can, because this place is always packed. Prepare for screaming kids, tired adults, and oblivious teens. Last time I was there, I got a combo of lemon meringue pie ice cream and Maui wowee ice cream. It was soooo good!

Got some ice cream on a nice sunny summer day. Disappointing. Their ice cream bins said Tillamook, but it must be some Grade B material from that creamery. Had a couple different flavors and both were pretty flavorless. All three of the cones in our group had a napkin wrapped around, which proceeded to stick to it when it was unwrapped. I’m fine with $5 for a single scoop in a tourist town, but it shouldn’t be junk.

Great selection of taffy, BUT most of the flavors I purchased were stale/crumbly and hard. Yikes! Their competitor on the northside of downtown had less flavors, but they were also fresher.

The chocolate isn't great. Personally it was too sweet and expensive for my taste. But their Saltwater Taffy was awsome! Such a vast selection of flavors!

This is a great spot to load up on Taffy and candies before a trip to Ecola or Haystack for some treats to keep you going. Old school shop and candy for all ages. Definitely worth the visit when in Cannon Beach.

This place is filled to the brim with good taffy and wonderful types of candy. The staff is nice, but the selection is even better. Taffy, fudge, vintage candy, soda, and even popcorn! It's a wonderful little shop for candy. I highly suggest it.

Dill pickle is their best flavor of taffy! Fun place, the smell of waffle cones will bring me back.

The taffy was rock hard. Walk to Bruce's instead.

My husband got ice cream. Super good! The caramel corn had so many kernels in it so was mostly inedible. I usually get fudge there and it's always good.

Understaffed, plus the gal scooping ice cream didn't push the scoops down on the come. Three of my kids almost lost their scoops. But tasty Tillamook ice cream. Great taffy, too.
