Honestly, couldn't tell you why this place has so many positive reviews.
Nothing hot was on offer when I arrived and so I got an açaí bowl. Açaí was completely frozen (basically a purple ice cube) and there was no way to mix in any of the toppings. Staff indifferent at best (and without masks).
If you find yourself in Brookings and think to yourself "Oh, wow, a Brazilian place!" Save yourself the disappointment and skip this one.
EDIT: Açaí super congelado não é bem o estilo do Brasil...a gente come em consistência de smoothie.

Wow! I'm sad I've been missing out on this, just havent gotten around to trying it until now! The smoothies are absolutely incredible, some of the best I've ever had. The consistancy, flavor, and overall refreshing factor are just off the charts! And dont get me started on the crepe I just ate, I've never had a savory crepe but let me tell you, if you think it sounds wierd, it's not. Just try it! Its SO good!! Will be coming back often!

Little Brazilian Coffee Shop and it has AMAZING Esfirra! Its a hand held meat pie similar to a empanada. They have a couple of dipping sauces both on the spicy side but I could have used a little more heat. I had these little savory pies while traveling the east coast of Brazil and these are as traditional as you can get in the states. They also serve all kinds of smoothies and crepes. When the weather is good they fire up the grill and make kabobs with beef or shrimp with veggies. What a great addition to our little community. Totally with a stop. Try the Guarana soda, very refreshing on a hot day. Service was perfection, if they are busy, be patient, its a small place but truly worth the wait. A really wonderful family operation.

Food was quantity over quality. Coxinha wasn't traditional at all, it was huge and not deep fried which made it soggy, it was also over seasoned and the chicken was mushy inside. The staff for the most part was friendly.

Stopped in for lunch and very glad that I did. I had an Esfirra and a Coxinha (which isn't listed online but was my personal favorite), and a smoothie. I'll be back to try the crepes next!

We loved our breakfast here, and the warm, friendly service was very appreciated. My wife especially enjoyed her smoothie with added ginger.

Very friendly staff! I found myself going to Tropicalia several times a week when I first discovered it. I highly recommend the quinoa bowl, oasis acai bowl, the cheesecake crepes and the creme brulee crepes.

The food is really good, but the gentleman who took my order was rude and got my order wrong. I don't need an eye roll for asking for strawberries!

The beef and mozzarella Esfirra was delicious! So were the smoothies. The cook is a Brasilian Timbers fan as well. 10 stars!
