Dudley's BookShop in Bend, Oregon, is a wonderful place to read and have a little coffee. A good selection of books, and the people who work there are knowledgeable and helpful. I did a presentation of my book, "The Haunting of the Mexican Border," and we had a whopping 30 people attend! Dudley's promoted the book well. I would return just to buy books, or to make another presentation.

Dudley's is great. Plenty of seating, cozy atmosphere, good coffee, lots of books to choose from. And everyone is always friendly - it's a great place if you need a book recommendation or if you want to browse the shelves.

Picture the quintessential cozy local bookshop complete with creaky wood floors, spicy chai lattes, and stacks and stacks of carefully curated tomes. My favorite time of year to come to Dudley’s is in deep winter when I can curl up with a hot drink and a great book in an armchair upstairs and watch the snow fall outside the foggy windows. Heaven.

I love this place! Great place for coffee and hanging out! If I lived in Bend I would spend a significant of time studying, drinking coffee, and buying books from here. Also the staff is really friendly, seems to know regulars by name, and the coffee is good!

I loved the vibe, the tea and the yummy baked goods at Dudleys! I was there promoting my new book, What to Expect When Adopting a Dog, and Tom and his staff couldn't have been warmer. While waiting for attendees to arrive I grabbed a book that interested me and had some quiet reading time too. Great experience.

Nice place to sip a drink and read in downtown Bend. Dudley's menu consists of coffees, tea, and a small selection of pastries. You'll find books on the walls curated by the owner for reading and purchase. If you are coming to read, I recommend heading upstairs for best experience. I love love love the red Dutch door in front!

Fantastic place, and this is from someone who doesn't usually like coffee or books! My fiancée and I would come here quite a bit and she loved it. She hated the coffee in America (from Australia) everywhere else, but LOVED the coffee from Dudley's. I had the chocolate frappé (I think, bad with remembering names) and it was fantastic.
Highly recommended spot for coffee, a quiet spot to read, or date.

What a wonderful bookstore, coffee and munchies establishment. Annie, the owner (I think) is really kind and let's us local musicians jam there. If they don't have the book you want in stock, they will have it in your hands by special order in no time at all!
Support local and help keep the wonderful vibe alive at Dudley's!!!

Super nice bookshop. Great place to browse, sit and sip a drink or light eats.
Unlike most bookstores, either new or used (and Dudley's is both), you have plenty of browsing space here. Especially upstairs in the used section, it's quite open.
I spent most of my time with my nose stuck in the sci-fi shelves and found a lot of good titles. Of course, I had to buy at least one. Who can go into a bookstore and not buy a book?
