Remember this place back in 1994 when I was a teenager. Still good coffee (and food - I got a bagel with a scrambled egg on the side... can't find that at many coffee places) and no backtalk. Glad to see they haven't changed much or "sold out". This place is a gem. Nostalgia.

Haven’t tried the coffee yet but I certainly want to. I had a onion bagel sandwich it was sooooo good! You can tell the bagel was made fresh. Worth the wait. The place seemed a little dirty but the food is great! Will be returning.

Great breakfast and coffee! Small selection of breakfast items. Mostly on-the-go sandwiches and things like biscuit and gravy bowls (like the hipster bowl I had was fantastic!). Really like that the biscuit is square for my breakfast sandwich. It was so big, I was able to eat it open faced and save the other half. The coffee selection was great, lots of different drinks that you don't see on menus at other coffee chains. Atmosphere is nice too and the staff are very friendly. They have indoor seating available and it's usually not all full.

From their days running The Coffee People, Jim and Patty's has always been amazing. The Black Tiger Mocha will never go out of style.

This place is funky, fun, and delicious. This is one of the only places to get 'brunch' in the central Beaverton corridor. We love the Pig Newtons. Their coffee cake is the best in town. The kids love coming here, playing a game, or just people watching.

Be warned, on a weekend morning, this place can be packed, and you may wait a few for food or for a drink.

All I can say it wow! I’m working on supporting only local restaurants as the economy is hitting them hard. My goodness was this place a hit! The dancing goat was rich and delightful. The tea was freshly brewed and the biscuit was cooked to perfection. This will be my new brunch spot!

Great spot for a solid breakfast that comes about relatively quick once you are able to order. Sometimes the line and ordering process take a while. Our last visit was a bit disappointing though. While the line wasn't long, once it was our turn to order, the cashier informed us they were out of gravy for any of their breakfast items. That's like 1/3 of their menu. The cashier said they usually run out of gravy early. 🫤 This made for an awkward few minutes while I had to figure out what I wanted to order instead, while there was a line behind us.

There two customer friendly ways to handle this.
1. Make more gravy. If you know that you regularly run out and aren't meeting customer demand, increase production.

2. If you aren't able to increase production, for whatever reason, let customers know before they are placing their order with a line building behind them. A simple sign placed in conspicuous places would save a lot of headache for customers and speed up the ordering process.

Jim and Patty's is still a great place to go for a coffee and food, and we will come again. I'll just be prepared with a backup order from now on.

Coffee was great. Wasn't impressed with the food. Gravy for biscuits and gravy was runny. The price we paid for a veggie without egg scramble was too high and it was like eating a wet warm salad, the "extra" potatoes to substitute for no eggs wasn't really extra at all and they were soggy. Disappointed in the meal. The guy helping us was nice, friendly helpful but he probably shouldn't be leaning against the counter where he was basically sitting on the fresh pastries sitting out on counter. Oops. But again very friendly. I'd go there for coffee but that's about it I think.

Long story short, I would definitely come back here for the food, the staff, and the space.
PROS: The food was great, the staff friendly, and a decently sized space for either groups or individuals.
CONS: the coffee was waaaay too sweet. If I'm being honest, I did order a mocha. I don't normally order a mocha but I didn't see any options for a regular latte. I've had mochas before and they normally still taste like coffee. It's bitter coffee with a hint of sweetness from the chocolate. In this drink I could not taste coffee at all. This drink was completely imbalanced and I found myself wondering about diabetes while sipping it. 😬 Once I started worrying about my heart, the drink did not get finished.

Our favorite coffee shop in Beaverton! Tasty drinks with a unique variety of flavors. Friendly staff. Great baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and pig newtons. I also like the fun wall art.

I love the Memphis scramble. Just told maybe cancelled. It's a great place but I go here specific for the Memphis scramble. If they take that off menu I may need to find another place to eat 🥴🤔🤨
