I would highly recommend The Common Cup! The atmosphere, waffles, and cappuccino (seriously the best) were perfect.

Misha (I hope I am spelling this correctly) was an absolute delight! Her hospitality, knowledge, and kindness made our experience a phenomenal one.

One of my favorite places to enjoy good food. It’s a short trip from West Salem and worth the trip. Eat at the waffle bar or in the summer enjoy sitting outside in the back of the building. My favorite waffle: the one with figs and crème frache.

I had the warrior waffle. Amazing and filling. Coffee is good. Fun atmosphere. The ladies working here today are super friendly and helpful. We will be back.

The food is unique, savory, and filling without being heavy. The coffee is delicious and the outdoor patio seating is beautiful. To top it all off, they have great customer service! We are definitely coming back to this gem of local business. Highly recommend!

Very cute! A waffle and coffee bar. I tried their hash brown waffle with a poached egg on top with beautiful garnish, my friend had their ham and cheese panini. We ate every bit of our plates. If it were closer, I would go more often. I LOVE waffles. The service was great, the atmosphere charming and quaint once you found out where to go. You enter a set of doors and follow the suite numbers to the appropriate boutiques or cafes. Definitely recommend for a meet up place to chat and catch up with a friend.

Came here a few months ago. It was far better service and food.
My eggs were VERY runny. The hashbrowns were half the size in width of a standard waffle. My husband was done eating before I got my food and then I'm done before my eldest child got his food. Also, we didn't receive our coffee order until the last waffle showed up and it was warm at best. Food outside of that was really good. The kitchen had a little trouble so I understand some of the delays, however the place is understaffed. Seating is difficult for a family of four if there is anyone else here with four people because all of the chairs are too tall for me I can't sit at a bar stool easily. Neither could the folks who just walked out. Additionally, there was an overwhelming perfume smell throughout the building that made my eyes burn. The florist shop inside smells better so it's not from there.

If you believe in buying local you will love the Common Cup. Give them a visit. The waffles are excellent, creative and even a little funky.
