Great coffee and atmosphere, but super disappointing in how loud they blast their music! If you're looking for a coffee shop to relax and converse, then don't stop here. I've watched patrons continually ask the individuals behind the counter to turn the music down and they refuse to by saying "I can try!" What does that mean anyways? I can try!!!! Just walk over and turn it down! Does the new management support this? Crazy!!!

The children's story time in Thursday's at 10:30am is the best story time I've found in the metro! We've made lots of friends in the area through going to higher grounds story time and I've met people for meetings a few times here. It's always fun going to Higher Grounds. It's welcoming for all ages and stages!

Love the peaceful atmosphere and friendly servers! The biscuits and real sausage gravy are to die for. Coffee is fabulous. They don't burn their coffee beans like other coffee shops. Wonderful experience every time!

Love this spot! So peaceful and the staff is kind , friendly and happy! The quiche is addicting!! So good!

Nice cozy atmosphere. They had comfy seating for relaxing to work type seating. Nice crowd present and staff. The latte was smooth and did not need any additions for my taste.

Fantastic coffee and service. Very clean, warm and welcoming. I was there for a workshop and the room we used was just perfect!! I highly recommend supporting the local business.

Very nice place, the americano is pretty good, no whip on the frapps though. Free WiFi is always a bonus. Decent selection of treats. Best part is it's not a corporate giant bleeding the neighborhood dry. Staff is really friendly.

Great coffee house!! Staff is awesome, I drive 12min and by two starbucks everymorning to get my quad latte and sit in front of the fire for a few minutes. Just a great place to get centered before starting the day.

I got a scone and a bagel, and the scone was so hard I couldn't even break it apart. The bagel was really hard as well. I ended up having to throw them both away. The coffee was good, the service was fast, and it has a nice atmosphere, but I don't think I'll be getting any food from here again.

Excellent customer service! Perfect latte & they have delicious gluten free items!
