Decent Mexican bakery with various types of sweet bread. Also serves other desserts like ice cream, cakes, milkshakes, and frappes.

I haven’t had much Mexican bread in my life, so I couldn’t tell how the breads were. I thought they were ok.

My Mexican friend, on the other hand, tried a pink colored bread and said the bread was a bit stale.

Would go back for the churros!

This fun Mexican bakery is a staple in the Kendall Whittier district in Tulsa, OK. Just off of Admiral and Lewis it’s a great location if you’re already in the area for the Saturday farmers market or seeing a movie at Circle Cinema. They have everything from lattes, to ice cream, to…well of course Mexican baked goods. Their baked goods are their staples. These include, cookies, churros, and croissants. My wife and I ordered two dozen churros for a party and they were well priced and VERY delicious. If you’re in the area this is a great stop for a date night or an outing with the family.

One of my favorite places in the world!! The food is great! The music is great!! The girls that run the counter are very nice. You can tell that the people that run the place take great pride in what they do. Just a really nice place to stop for a snack and a soda or cup of coffee. I cannot say a single negative thing about Pancho Anaya. If you’ve never been you should definitely come and try a shortbread cookie or anything for that matter because it’s all delicious. I love this place. Best bakery of all time. Warm, inviting and delicious.

I hate donuts. I see them as the most unsatisfying and least-filling waste of calories out of pretty much any food. I don’t eat them. But I ate this one. I savored it. I had a moment of transcendence that caused my worldview to shift momentarily. They are not a cake donut, or a regular donut... they are some blissful convergence of the two. We got some to take home so that their dad could experience nirvana with us. 😋

They were just one of our many purchases; our family stocks up regularly at this lovely Mexican bakery. We especially love their semita integral (very airy and a hint of sweet) and the little pig cookies (a molasses cookie). It’s a must-see! #panchoanayabakery #donutheaven #childhoodmemorymaking #raisingfoodies #supportlocal #tulsafoodie

These pastries are FIRE.
Favorites are the jalapeño cream cheese croissant, the flakey pastry that’s sweet, the chocolate cookie, and the raspberry filled coconut cake 🤤🤤

We decided to order several dozen assorted pastries for our wedding reception, and all of our guests loved it! Many people asked us where we had gotten them from so they could go themselves. We had a few leftovers, and they stay good even the next day. While I’ve never had anything I didn’t like there, my favorite are the empanadas — especially now that it’s pumpkin season. Thank you Pancho Anaya for making our event so memorable!

Very fresh pan dulce (sweet bread/rolls). Many choices I hadn’t ever seen before in this bakery. I really liked the red zinger (raspberry coconut) sweet roll, the Bavarian crème /custard filled, and concha (pretty shell decorated) one. So many more to try! They also have savory (crème cheese with jalepenos) too. Very nice staff and owners have been in business for 5 generations. Was one of my fun stops in my tour of the Kendall Whittier neighborhood!

I used to really love this bakery but recently they have gone downhill a lot. I drive 40 minutes to get there and at times like today I get there at 7 pm. They close at 8 pm yet their staff chooses to have everything closed by 7. The bathrooms are closed and even the coffee machines are cleaned by that time and they start putting up the bread around that time too. What’s the point of it being open until “8 pm” if there’s only limited things an hour before closing. I get that the staff wants to go home but the hours are there for a reason.
