Chimera Cafe

Fabulous place for vegan food and yummy drinks. One of the specials was vegan Frito chili pie, delish!

I was really excited to try this place but we were passing through Tulsa on our way to OKC, so I didn’t have time to wait to order real food. The wait for food was 45 min because there were a lot of people ahead of me. I ordered a decaf latte with oat milk and grabbed a pastry. The pastry was delicious and I appreciated that all their pastries were vegan. However, the latte is the worst latte I think I’ve ever had, lol. If I wouldn’t have rushed out to my car to get on the road I would have asked them to remake it. The milk was not hot at all, and it literally didn’t taste like coffee. I feel like I paid $6 for a small cup of lukewarm oat milk.

I would love to come back someday when I’m Tulsa and be able to update my review for a more positive experience!

Nice small restaurant. Food for everyone, especially vegans and vegetarians. Loved the burrito. The cauliflower wings not so much. Not the same as chicken wings, obviously 😉

After years of enjoying Chimera, I can say that this restaurant/cafe is a local favorite.
There are alternative dietary options available.
There are specials that change and keep the menu fresh.
The menu is full of tasty options and there are no items that disappoint.
There are events on certain days of the week/month, such as live music.
There are delicious fresh juices and coffee drinks and teas.
The service has always been friendly and accommodating.

Why have to go order if you just mess them up every single time?
I get the day dream nation as a wrap and I get crema on the side every time. I also don’t like the strips that come with it so I get that taken off and add extra potatoes. She said she didn’t have that option so she put avocado instead, and said she would tell the kitchen. I hate avocado. I get home, without checking the bag ( LESSON LEARNED). No crema on the side, and it has avocado in it, instead of extra potatoes like I requested and even paid for.

Yummy breakfast food with tons of options. Only giving 4/5 because of the long wait. Don’t go here if you’re trying to get a “quick bite” - takes a while

Holy Cow!! The cinnamon rolls are next level and the service was fantastic! Thank you to everyone, especially the angel with a plate of cinnamon rolls!

super yummy, great service, and decent portion. it was filling and delicious! Chimera Cafe is definitely with the visit. can’t wait for next time!

The customer service is phenomenal. I so badly wanted to love this place. They used to serve a good amount of food. I spend almost 20 bucks for a small portion. The plate was big but the actual food covered maybe 25% of that plate. They threw a few pieces of fruit on it . I’m very disappointed. 💔 I probably won’t be coming back unfortunately.
