The Branch

I’m giving a 2 only because of the atmosphere and beauty of the restaurant itself. First of all 4 of us were seated and our waiter brought us our water, one of the glasses he spilled on the table and all over our female friend. Not a great start but that has nothing to do with this review, accidents happen. The dinner menu was very limited, perhaps 10 items, ranging from $18 and on up. We all ordered a fettuccini dish, a couple with chicken, one with shrimp and one with both. We waited over 30 minutes for our food, which was luke warm at best when it arrived. Each dish came with a small piece of garlic toast. We asked a waitress walking by( our waiter had disappeared it seemed) if they had any grated mozzarella for the fettuccini and she said yes and returned with a small plastic container with mozzarella flakes in it and asked if that would be enough for the four of us. By now I had given up and just wanted to eat. Before the review gets any longer, I’ll just close by saying Stouffers out of the frozen section of Wal Mart would have been better. Limited menu, too expensive for the quality, so so food and poor customer service. What’s left to give a good review.

Absolutely the worst experience of dining I’ve ever experienced. The servers were rude and lacked the skills needed to serve. Training was definitely not required in applying for a job here and it’s obvious. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. I promise you’ll have a better experience ANYWHERE else in this town. The only servers that seemed to have any customer service skills or any knowledge of how to serve was the bartender, Kyle and the server Taylor. I’m ashamed for the Berry’s and definitely thought highly of their businesses before being utterly let down this evening. Do better.

To The Branch's benefit, the food tastes good and the atmosphere is very nice. What drops them from achieving 5 stars is both the dinner price and service I received. I took my wife out, and we got two 11 oz ribeyes with sides. Our food arrived after quite a wait and half of it was cold. My ribeye was barely above room temperature. That's unacceptable for the prices being charged. They were $45 apiece. There are several other places nearby that have the same quality or better steak for considerably less cost. It would have been cheaper to drive to Tulsa for the same quality steak. On a personal note I did not feel great being seated less than 6 feet away from other customers during this pandemic. The drinks are good and I haven't had their lunch, but both times I've been here have been frustrating. I do not plan to return to eat.

1hour 15 minute wait for the surf and turf. We arrived at 8:20 past the rush. The wait made no sense to us since by the time we got our food, took 15 minutes to eat it, there only 2 tables left in the entire place. This was an unpleasant $60 meal after a tiring 5 drive. My fried mushrooms were clearly made in old oil and burnt. Otherwise the S&T was just ok.
After a wait like that, we should at least get a thank you leaving, but the hostess too busy in her phone. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Food was fantastic. We ate outside in the 2nd story porch where there's a creek just below. Beautiful atmosphere. The only thing seemingly negative was it seemed to take awhile (about 1.5 hrs for fish and chips, burger, and a grilled chicken sandwich) to get our food once ordered. Our waitress didn't really come back to check on us to see if we needed more drinks. It was hard to tell, but they may have been short-handed. I'd still go back again.

Love this place!
The atmosphere is incredible. Sit upstairs outside and enjoy well crafted drinks and food that is extremely delicious. One would not believe this to be local to Tahlequah, but it is worth every penny...

Pretty good place for a bite and to get out of the heat of the day. We both had burgers, Branch burger and the mushroom burger, and fries. Everything was hot and tasty. There was a young man playing guitar and singing that was a pleasant surprise.

Ahhh the fireplace. Sit by the fireplace and enjoy a cocktail with your supper

Food was great, best chicken sandwich I have had, husband had the smoked French dip he said it was amazing! Service was wonderful the atmosphere relaxing and love the decor! We will be back!

What a great experience! Loved the food and the staff. Looking forward to eating here a bunch over the next few years!😋
