This was my second visit to HunnyBunny Biscuit Co at the Memorial location, and I only went because I was invited to go there. This time I ordered Biscuit French Toast. I think I'm being quite generous on giving it a 2 out of 5. I would never buy or eat their version of French Toast again. The fruit on it was the best part, and, in general, I don't overly enjoy most fruit. The French Toast was dry, unimpressive, and rather tasteless. The whipped cream topping is extremely sweet. The dry biscuit was incapable of soaking up any significant amount of egg mixture. For a place with "Biscuit" in its name, they aren't very good, but I have a couple of superb biscuit makers in my family. This restaurant, or possibly, this location is well worth passing by!

Mrs. Flip Out wanted to have lunch here and see their new location, which is always perfect for her because she loves breakfast food anytime. Upon entering, I wasn’t sure what I would order because I’m not a breakfast anytime fan. My fears were immediately dispelled as Hunny Bunny Biscuit Co. has an excellent menu with more than “just breakfast food.” Mrs. Flip Out had the Club biscuit sandwich and as you will see in the picture, it was a huge, tall sandwich. She said it was very filling, delicious, and just a perfect lunch. I had the Fried Chicken plate, but I swapped out the collard greens for sausage gravy. First off, the biscuits are huge, so I used only the bottom half with the chicken and smothered it with the gravy. It was a delicious decision. I had the other biscuit half with the butter and jelly that came with the meal. So good! Mrs. Flip Out also had a honey latte and loved it. She was too busy drinking it that I didn’t get a picture. Friendly and attentive staff, a spacious venue, and a lovely patio available when the weather is nice.

My son treated me to breakfast here for an early Mother’s Day date. The time spent with him was lovely, the food, left something to be desired
. I’m a southern girl who knows how biscuits & sausage gravy are supposed to be, I make it frequently at home. The biscuits were a bit hard & the gravy was just ok. This is cheap food to make & they’re charging way too much for this style of food, because they’re in a nice area of the city. My son ordered the Velvet Elvis. His bacon was so hard, he pulled it off & didn’t eat it. $8 for a biscuit with peanut butter, jelly, banana & bacon on it. If anything, that bacon should have been the bomb, with it being the most expensive item in the “meal.” I put that in quotations because that’s $8 with no side. He had to pay extra for hash browns. Won’t be back again, unfortunately.

I recently visited HunnyBunny Biscuit Company and it was a delightful experience. Everything on the menu was centered around biscuits, and I must say, the options were nothing short of delicious. My daughter enjoyed the crispy bacon and the eggs were cooked to perfection. I opted for the Nashville chicken biscuit, and it was the perfect blend of spice and flavor.

The casual dining experience was a refreshing change of pace. There were no waiters, which meant I could get in and out quickly, making it an ideal spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere was laid-back and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy my meal.

The music selection was another highlight of my visit. The throwback jams added to the overall ambiance and created a fun and lively atmosphere. I found myself humming along to some of my favorite tunes while enjoying my food.

The staff and management were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and made the overall dining experience that much more enjoyable.

Overall, I highly recommend HunnyBunny Biscuit Company to anyone in the mood for some delicious biscuits and a laid-back dining experience. From the food to the a

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said by others? Well, it was my first time here and I decided to rate it 5 stars. I don't usually do that. I like to visit a place a few times before I leave any reviews. But this place is well worth the hype.

My parents raved about it so when I was in town, I absolutely had to try it for myself. I love biscuits. Even the canned, store-bought kind. But this place really takes a breakfast item and elevates it to a whole new level. Every item on their menu is based around their delicious biscuits, even the more "traditional" food items like french toast and eggs benedict.

I had the French Hen, which consists of french toast style biscuits, fried chicken, and topped with apple butter and pecans. There was even a to-go cup of optional syrup on the side, but it didn't need it all. The chicken was perfectly crispy and well seasoned and perfectly complementary to the sweet biscuits and apple butter. Now, I've never tried apple butter before today. For those who haven't, man, you're missing out. The apple butter was an excellent replacement for syrup as you still got the sweetness without the sticky, gloopy, soggy mess of maple syrup and wasn't overly sweet. Topped with crumbled pecans, the dish is well balanced and incredibly filling.

The cinnamon roll surprised me. At first blush, it looks like a typical cinnamon roll but this was better. It's lighter, fluffier and less dense than regular rolls. The cream cheese frosting on top didn't make me feel like I'd eaten a box of powdered sugar, a nice change from many other cinnamon rolls.

The staff were all very friendly and attentive and the person at the front register (where you order and pay) never made any adjustments or requests for changes (i.e. almond milk or ham on the side) seem like it'd be a huge hassle. It was nothing unusual, but sometimes waitstaff act like any change is a BFD.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Now I just wish I could pick it up and transport closer to my house.

Tbh it was just mid. Value for what we got wasn’t great. I got a Hot Mess and my boyfriend got their Chicken Plate. Portion sizes were small for the price. Our food was pretty bland. Service was not great and the lady at the front seemed miserable. My honey latte was heavenly, however. The cinnamon roll was also good and paired well with my latte. To me it seems like this is a better place for coffee and a biscuit/cinnamon roll than eating an actual meal.

We have been to Hunny Bunny several times over the past year and find the quality to be inconsistent at best. The visit this morning will keep us away for good. I ordered my dish cooked lightly and it came brown & overcooked; I asked them to remake it which they reluctantly did. That left me with a hard biscuit and no jelly as ordered. My friend's plate did not come as ordered either and was not even hot enough to melt the cheese, his biscuit was hard and inedible. The server had a really bad attitude though I can't say anyone was friendly. A pretty bad breakfast experience for $30 for two people.

We love this restaurant! However the last few months the kitchen has definitely changed. The biscuits are always hard! I have spoke to various employees including management but nothing ever changes regardless of it is delivered or if we dine in. We will not be back.

Update. If HB valued the feedback it would show in the quality of food so we shall see if anything actually changes.

I had high expectations for this place! Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and the largest one too. The plate I ordered sounded like a lot. It was biscuits and sausage gravy with one meat but I paid extra for a second. I have pictured what I received and was disappointed with the portion size.

All that being said everything was made with high-quality ingredients and the biscuits looked homemade. It was served with a small bowl of tater tots. The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit were bigger than any I've seen in any restaurant but pricey at $7. I could see that on a food truck but lowering it by $1 might increase sales and number ordered as well. My buddy said the mimosa was good and I will say the portion size was perfect for a smaller guy like him. Alcohol is his main protein, lol.

Good but could use improvements.
Ordered the Hot Mess and was just okay. Was a little underwhelming with the amount of talk I’ve head about the 23rd St location... maybe the original is a little better.
Didn’t really like having to carry coffee, drink supplies, silverware, etc to our table after ordering.
