A must go to when in Hocatown! Never had a bad meal or time here. Great folks and service. Excellent outdoor area to listen to live music.

This is one of the most popular restaurants in Hochatown/Broken Bow. Most of the time you need a reservation to get a table. This was our first time here but our 6th time in BB. Overall, was pretty disappointing experience. The food is good if you like food with absolutely no flavor. They have live music on the weekends so that was nice and our server was very kind and helpful. I got the chicken Alfredo and my husband got the spaghetti Parmesan, both were really disappointing. This was supposed to be our 1 year anniversary dinner but we both regretted going here. I’m not sure why this place has so many good reviews and books out so quickly. There is nothing special about this place, the food tastes straight out of a package and if I’m going to pay these prices to eat somewhere I’d at least expect half of it to be homemade. You’re better off spending your money elsewhere, I wish we had.
(Edited to add) It was my mistake to claim that the food is not prepared fresh, as it is stated from the business owner that it is. It might have just been a bad night for us and not the right dish. We may visit once more in the future. Thank you to the business owner for taking the time to answer our review.

Great place! My wife and I came here as a pre-anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is that of a fine dining establishment, however, you'll be quite comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. In the middle of the restaurant was an actual working fireplace, which is a nice plus if you're interested in a romantic scene. Now to the main attraction, the food. We started with the Calamari; delicious. It was perfectly fried and seasoned; no salt needed. I would suggest asking for cocktail sauce instead of the roulade sauce. I think it tastes better. For entrees, I got the shrimp and grits. They use colossal shrimp, so you don't get many, but they're more than enough, and they are plump and juicy. The grits were cheesey and uber creamy. The bacon adds just enough crunch to shake things up. My wife actually ordered the chicken parmigiana, however, they bought the chicken fried steak instead; a blessing in disguise. It was too good. The steak had that crispy, crunchy texture with excellent seasoning. Again, no salt needed. For dessert, we ordered the brownie a la mode. It was served warmed and the ice cream melting over it was like heaven in a bite. Our great waitress, Ali, brought us the Creme Brulee to try since we were celebrating our anniversary. She was the best thing in a night full of greasy moments. Definitely, ask for her. You won't regret it. Give this place a try. Two thumbs up!

My husband & I ate here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was amazing. Our server, Anthony, was awesome and definitely made us want to come back. He gave us a dessert on him for our anniversary ❤️ can’t wait to come back.

Great local place with a casual but upscale vibe. Server was attentive and friendly. Food was outstanding with the exception of the filet that was served medium well instead of medium rare. Fun drink selection, but pricey. Live band was a nice addition to the evening. Overall, a solid choice for a night out in Hochatown!

The food was wonderful along with the waiter. Now the atmosphere was horrible. The smell of sewage at the picnic table outside wasn't worth the price tag of the meal. I almost left because of the smell. I will probably never come back even though the food was good.

Food, service, and atmosphere was absolutely fantastic! We were visiting from Louisiana so we were very skeptical to try the "Louisiana Pasta" and Steak, but to our surprise it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend and will be back!!

Food A+ Service A++ have a great experience every time we go. Ribeye is good but not the best value on the menu. Chicken fried steak, shrimp and grits, pasta, egg rolls all fantastic.

Knew that this place got full so I tried multiple times to call and reserve a table for our larger party of 15. No one would answer the phone the two days leading up to the night we wanted to go out to dinner. We even left messages and never got a return call. When I finally DID get through, the hostess (or whoever answered the phone Saturday afternoon) was so rude and annoyed. She started of the conversation by saying “No we can’t help you.” Not “Oh let me check and see if we can make that work, but just to let you know we are very busy tonight.” Lol I wish. I asked if there was a time between 6:30 to 8:00 that they could accommodate a 15 top and she said “No we already have a 15 top coming in at 8:15.” So I guess Abendigos with their massive restaurant and patio cannot handle more than one 15 top a night. And I said “There’s no other time we could come in at all?” She curtly answered, “No”. I almost asked to speak to a manager but why bother when the person answering phones doesn’t understand customer service. It doesn’t get better from there. Sad thing is, we would have spent so much money. The place we did go each of my friends got two drinks at least, dinner, appetizers, and dessert. Oh well. Highly recommend The Eat Out over this mess. Better burgers, drinks and atmosphere.
