Merritt's Bakery

I ordered a couple of pies, then I selected a mini Boston Creme cake and a canoli to share with my guest. Both were quite tasty. This place is loaded with goodies. If you need a sugar fix, I recommend coming here.

I’m OBSESSED with this bakery!! It makes me feel like I’m back home again. I have never been able to find donuts that compare to the donuts from my hometown for the past three years until I found Merritt’s Bakery. I can’t stop coming back for the Boston cream cake too! I cannot get enough of this place and would gladly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I first want to start by saying that I have been an exclusive customer of theirs for at least a decade. They have amazing baked goods. BUT! I had my first TERRIBLE experience with them this week and I am still upset about the situation. Their online system could use vast improvement. It showed me a confirmation number, but yet when I showed up at the store (on time) they said they never received the order. I waited over an hour in the parking lot sitting in my car DURING WORK HOURS, waiting on a coworkers birthday cake to 'be prepared by the baker'. I was told this by the associate who tried to help me. I came back in at the agreed upon time only to be FURTHER disappointed. A different associate told me that there is NO BAKER HERE and that all baked items are actually delivered across Tulsa. Meaning, there is no way that cake could have been made and transported in the time he promised. He then tried persuading me to wait 30 more minutes, and as loyal as I am I pondered it. He then went to go ASK THE OWNER about possibly delivering it and he said NO. After waiting that long and only to walk out empty handed, the associate did not seem disappointed what so ever that I left so upset. It seems that a loyal customer, and customer loyalty means nothing to Merritt's. I'm terribly disappointed.

Amazing! This is the best bakery in Oklahoma. Wonderful service, delicious food, and fair prices. Will be back! They were able to make me a cake in a time crunch. Thank you, Merritts!!!!!! P.S. they hav cherry donuts that are dangerously delicious!

The person on the phone did not act as if she was at all interested in helping me, when i called to order my cake. I ended up ordering online to not have to deal with employee. The cake was good, exactly what i ordered. Employees at store were minimally helpful.

Still excellent Merritt's quality, just a more limited selection than their Midtown locale. Also, lighting on the display cases was out on a top shelf I wanted to look at. But, again, the cake they made for me and the pastry I had were top notch Merritt's!

I was a walk-in and was able to find a 8 inch, lemon birthday cake for my wife. There’s plenty of variety to choose from and the staff was helpful.

Baby says croissants are yummy and his mamie, Billie, is the bestest lady there!

My family ordered a cake for my cousin's wedding tomorrow and it was not their best work. The owner Larry offered to give her money back and she bring the cake back. Not the best service, what are we supposed to do about the cake if the wedding is tomorrow. This cake was ordered 6 months ago. They need to make this right! I'd there child were getting married they would understand!

Merritt's Bakery has always been a great place to visit and grab a little treat. I called in and placed an order that I needed and they were very polite, helpful and quick to accommodate my request. I will be back without a question to grab something sweet and tasty.
