Beacon Cafe

This place is my new favorite for a quiet afternoon with some amazing coffee! Went here with some ladies for breakfast and it was all so amazing. Cute little cabin coffee shop with some of the best coffee drinks around. Very neat and clean. It’s a good thing I don’t live in Winesburg or I would be there every day :)

I visited the Beacon Cafe for the first time last week. Last summer when I went through Winesburg the building was being renovated. It is a log cabin, a real log cabin. I'd guess it's been there for 150 years. Anyway they did a great job with the building. We had a simple lunch, which is pretty much all thy offer besides a wide array of coffee drinks. Though not called a panini per say my sandwich had obviously been in a panini press and was served hot. I think it was called the Beacon Club. Delicious with a myriad of flavors. The cheese and broccoli soup was very cheesy and thick. I loved it but my wife did not. I can't remember what sandwich my wife had but she downed the entire thing, she never eats the entirety of anything. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be returning again and again.

Update: still just as good a year later! Beacon Club sandwich is amazing. Very flavorful contemporary food, excellent drinks.

I love this place. The workers are awesome. Their food Is really good and their coffees are the bomb. The white chocolate frappe is my favorite.

Love this little cafe!! Great drinks and variety to choose from. Definitely one of the best Chia Lattes I have had (with almond milk) And light foods to choose from as well. Great place!!

The atmosphere, food and drinks were wonderful. The only thing I wished they had different was some music so it wouldn't seem as if everyone in the building can hear you.

The family who runs this shop are a great reflection of the local community and had such a warm smile on their faces. Coffee was good. No complaints.
