We really enjoy Sophie's. (I wish they would offer at least 1 gluten-free item, esp a dessert. Only reason 4 out of 5 stars.) But they do accommodate. Love the ambiance. Price is right. Laura R. is continuing to do a first-rate job here. Food is always delicious.
Stopped passing thru the area on business. Food was outstanding. Broccoli salad was worth the trip alone. A nice selection of exotic and flavored teas. Many sandwich and salad selections to choose from House brew coffee is good too. A refreshing change from fast food and noisy theme restaurants . If you find yourself pass I Mr thru or close by, stop and enjoy a little tea or coffee break. You will enjoy it.
If you have children this isn't the place to go. We had our monthly family dinner here. Upon ordering is when we found out that there is no kids menu and that the only options for a 1 an 2 year old was peanut butter and jelly or grilled cheese an the only side was applesauce. Not much choice there. Also the regular menu had everything on it was either spicy or had a funny mustard mayo blend. We went on high recommendations especially about their soups and they only had split pea soup. We ordered wraps and got bread which was tasteless and dry. The family (about 18 of us showed) wasn't impressed and wouldn't go back.
What a gem!!! The soups are homemade, delicious & comforting! The turkey, bacon, cranberry sandwich was AMAZING!!! Super place to stop in for some good food.
I love eating there and I've never had anything that wasn't good. I had their barbecue chicken, cheesy potatoes and brocolli salad recently and it was delicious πand enough for two. dh
