Coffee Express

My boyfriend and I planned a weekend trip to Port Clinton last summer. We tried The Coffee Express one morning and our experience was so nice we came back the next morning! Great food, drinks, and service.

We found this lovely place two years ago! Returned this week just before they closed to order a sandwich, buy the last piece of quiche, two coffees, and also 2 muffins for breakfast! They were so kind and helpful! We love it and will visit each time we’re in the area! Thx!!! 😋

Great coffee and food! There were so many varieties of coffee available, and many bakery goodies. We sat outside on the porch (traveling with our dog); there are several outside seats and it was relaxing. They offered veggies or chips. We did have to wait in a longer line than I expected, but it’s a popular coffee shop.

A fantastic little coffee house! The service was as you would expect in a quaint little shop (by which I mean very good), and the food was just as pleasant! We ate the Turkey Bacon Bagel and Mrs. Crunchy sandwich, both of which were well worth the price and more. Highly recommend.

Came here with a group of friends when we were visiting from out of town- we made it a point to come to this place every morning we were here! Best sandwiches and lattes!!

We love CE...!!! Our place is on Catawba Point and we make the trip almost every day when we are up in the Summer. Staff is great, always greet you with a smile and a hello.
Coffees and really good quality and the kids love the specialty drinks.
Make sure to stop in when heading up to the islands...!!!

They have excellent coffee, lots of variety and baked goods or quiche. They are usually busy, but require social distancing. Since the floor space is limited for lining up, they have a maximum number of customers sign on the door.

Great little coffee shop for quality coffee, latte's, mochas & muffins - even quite the variety of quiches! The shop is fully staffed, friendly and helpful. While it's a tight fit inside, it's worth it to stay. There are several quaint tables to sit at for awhile; the walls are adorned with lovely black and white photos depicting local history.

Usually love this place, but ordered one hot and one iced and one hot today, and got two hots. I ordered a lemon blueb. muffin and a brownie, asked for them in a bag, and got a big to-go box instead to - I guess - preserve the frosting. Carrying a bag would have been easier up the flight of stairs I needed to ascend at work, and I didn’t care about the frosting. Didn’t matter, bc I was so flustered I left the to-go box either on my car or at the café. Attention there seemed to be dominated by a convo about steeping tea.
