I was passing through New Philadelphia en route to Pittsburgh and decided to stop in at Daily Grind Cafe. I am so glad I did! I had a delicious breakfast bagel sandwich. The name eludes me right now, but it was a blueberry bagel with jalapenos, egg, cheese, and I believe bacon! Scrumptious! I also had a delicious drink. The service and atmosphere were top notch!

Cute vintangy place. The lady who served me was super sweet. I ordered a cookie dough drink, I forgot to mention I meant HOT and so I got the cold version. It was my bad, and it is summer. Anyways, I kept the drink and it taste good. Would come back here...spacious.

Great local coffee shop. Incredibly friendly "down home" style service.

Second time ordering their Farmhouse Salad. It was surprisingly good the first time so it gets a review for meeting expectations the second time. Doesn't get 5 stars only because I have a couple other salads that hold that spot. Both times ordering the Farmhouse Salad the presentation was fine, the greens, tomato, carrots and onion were all fresh, the chicken was cubed nicely and tasted good, some grated cheese on top with a parmesan-peppercorn dressing on the side finished it out. The dressing complimented all the ingredients we'll without overpowering the balance of flavor. The portion was big enough to share and with two iced coffee beverages under $20 gets a 4-star.

I love this place, the people, and staff are always friendly, and are always. Everything is fresh, and made to order. Their French toast is awesome if you ever get the chance to try it!

Can't go higher than four stars due to moral obligation of honesty, just walked in, joked with the Ohioan behind the counter, got my coffee with espresso and beat it. Nice spot, good coffee, good selection, hilarious, friendly folks. Easy recommendation.

Always spectacular!!!! Love, love, love this place! Best lattes in town! I always get the mini scones, but today I got the blueberry and apple cinnamon puff pastries. Absolutely amazing! My new go-to breakfast treat!

To be fair, they probably do make a good cup of java here, but their outdoor sinage reads, "food," "salads," and "sandwiches." We were traveling through, missed our turn, and settled on eating here as we were starving and pressed for time. We each ordered a sandwich. What I got was a $9.00 roll with what looked like left over salad just haphazardly thrown on top of a slice of chicken breast so thin I could practically see through it. I was so disappointed and left feeling ripped off. Daily Grind should just stick to coffe and cookies if they aren't willing to expend the money and effort necessary to be good sandwich place.

Great atmosphere, exposed brick, delicious drinks and creative menu selections.
