Coffee and atmosphere were great, wish they had some more specials on the menu but its understandable for a coffee spot had a nice day

This is a homey place with excellent coffee. I tried the cold brew today and it was delicious. The owner stopped by our table to say hi. I highly recommend Sames & Cook coffee shop. There is a donut shop next door too!

Love this little place. Its nice that we can grab a menu and booth and come up to the register to order when we are ready. The menu is small and simple but very good. The owner is just fabulous too!

One of Mount Gilead’s best kept secrets. Great atmosphere, wonderful/friendly hometown service, and really really good food—as close to homemade as you can get, love their breakfast sandwiches.

Was on there to pick up coffee with the wife but the store was very nice and the people were very nice and friendly!!

Im in Mount gilead almost daily! I use to live in town but moved. Being my first time here I was excited! As I walk in the door I’m greeted by the most heavenly smells. Coffee surrounds you! I was approached by a very nice woman, who was all smiles. I ordered a 2 egg omelet with everything, a Large Biscuits & gravy and a cappuccino, to go. They have MANY ads in’s Thor your hot drinks!! The lady’s there loved to talk and kept funny conversation! So I Got in my car and sipped the coffee and it was DELICIOUS! Got home and the food was just as equally a treat!! I WILL BE BACK! This will now be my new morning stop!!!!

My Mom and I were walking to eat somewhere else when we walked past and this place caught our eye...we love places like this. Man the food was good and the people were better! Highly recommend it!
