Traveling from Toledo out west and came across this place in a cute, manicured side of town. Loved the romantic and cozy vibe inside, although there were unfortunately many yellow jackets in the back patio area and I got stung by one (!! 😖) so beware, they are not nice. That’s the only reason I docked a star since I think my experience would have been different if that hadn’t happened.

Stopped here as a family when traveling, and very glad we did! Ordered an iced coffee, caramel latte, peach smoothie, and a lemonade. We also got two delicious sandwiches to split. The Barista was very welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. Just the perfect amount of social. The drinks were very good, but the sandwiches we're really delicious. We ordered the Italian, and the Chicken Parmesan. The cook was nice enough to cut in half so we can split it. Both were VERY good- it was hard to decide which one we liked better.

My friend and I absolutely loved the vibes in here. The decor was perfect and I'm obsessed with the ceiling. We got the coffee flight, and this is something that NEEDS to be done by more coffee shops. It is perfect for anyone struggling to decide what to drink. They have a ton of other options tho, if this isn't your thing.
I would highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area or just passing by like us. We had great customer service as well.

delicious food and drinks!! from soups, sandwhiches, to desserts, you can make a great meal! and every coffee i have tried—cold or hot, house blend or flavored—is amazing! fun environment, too! only thing to watch for—It can get pretty crowded at times. But, if you go when the weather is nice, you can avoid that by enjoying their outdoor seating!

Great atmosphere and coffee. The food portions are on the smaller end for the price, we got a smoked salmon bagel and it was only one half of a bagel. Tasted great though.

I visited today with my mom, her coffee was cold and so was mine. She ordered a bagel for $3.50 and got a pitifully small amount of cream cheese to go with it, kind of a rip off if you ask me. I ordered a shot in the dark and the barista didn't know what that was. The coffees were not good and cold, it seems like the staff served us old coffee. Overall the experience was genuinely underwhelming and disappointing. I witnessed who I believe was the owner use the steam wand to re-heat a latte for a customer, which was quite disturbing to me, as that is a major health code violation. I've been a barista for 5+ years and never in my tenure would I ever reheat a latte like that. I am serve-safe certified, and one of the first things I learned was the importance of maintaining proper temperatures when serving beverages. It is completely unsanitary, not to mention incredibly unsafe, to reheat a latte. In my experience I always offered to remake a customer's latte, or offered them a coffee on the house, free of charge, if they ever complained about it being cold. Witnessing such disregard for food and health safety upset me more than the bad coffee. My mom and I ended up going across the street to another café where the coffee and food was exceptional, and so hot I almost forgot about my prior bad experience. Also, the staff was 10 times more hospitable, and the barista actually knew what she was doing. I was quite unimpressed and completely turned off by the lack of food safety I witnessed. I will not be coming back, but I'll definitely be frequenting the lovely people who served us across the street. Also, reheating a latte completely destroys the chemistry and structure of the milk, so you doing that shows me that you don't care about the quality of your product because whatever you reheated and handed back to the customer was most likely subpar, gross, and not even close to what a latte should be. If I hadn't seen this happen I probably wouldn't have said anything and just shrugged off the experience. 1/5, train your staff about food safety and how to make an actual good cup of coffee.

I wish I could give this place a -5 stars. I walked in and the staff were unbelievably rude. My cheesecake wasn’t cut right and my coffee was watered down. The soup was too salty and the bread was stale

Great place for coffee. They have great bake goods like cheese cake, cookies, vegan bars and muffins. Don't sleep on there breakfast sandwiches and regular lunch options.

Best local spot in Maumee and, downtown Toledo for great coffee and a variety of teas, baked goods, flights, sandwiches, dips and, the creamiest cheesecake that Erin makes!!
