Winans Chocolate + Coffee +Wine

Here is another awesome little coffee shop in Dayton, and this one serves a Highland Grog Latte!!! I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere because the bean grinder they have on hand is SUPER LOUD. Other than that, the experience and atmosphere is great. You can't do much better if you are looking for a great coffee and a muffin.

Great coffee, awesome candies, friendly staff, and very clean shop. This location is at the fare east side of downtown by the Dragons Stadium and Riverscape. Parking maybe an issue but I really like it here

The pumpkin pie hot chocolate was the best I have ever had. Not too sweet, not syrupy, and actually tastes like pumpkin pie.

I thought the chocolate was good not great. My husband thought it was great. Will definitely come here again for cocoa.

Mike was a welcoming smile, a kind voice, and a great educator as I walked in for the first time.

He was pleasant, patient, and informative.

Just got a simple Cafe mocha but it was phenomenal.

You've created a regular out of me from the quality of taste to the high caliber hum0n behind the counter.

This was the most lovely chocolatier we've been to. The aesthetics of the shop was classy and welcoming. The attendant, Andre I think, was very knowledgable about all the items and answered completely and with ease. He was so friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back. Everything everything, including the amazing chocolates, were A+!

I don't know if they recently hired new employees or I just didn't see them as often as other staffs though.
One of those people is the reason I took a star out. Not sure if she was having a bad day when I came, but her attitute was like she doesn't want to work...
FYI, she has her nose ring(?) on. There must be a couple of female staffs, so I wanted to make sure.

It was not just one time unfortunately. Okay, the second time.. when she saw me, she was giving me her "annoyed" face. I've never done anything wrong. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️🤷
Anyway, since then, another employee took my order instead.

This is everything I want in one place. Amazing coffee and the most beautiful dessert case. The staff are wonderful and very sweet. I highly recommend checking it out.

I absolutely love that young guy that works the front. Bees pretty cool. Always makes my coffe right. , the ONLY THING I ABSOLUTELY HATE IS THE PARKING. Like it literally makes me not want to even come lol. It's like I have work I need somewhere I can run in and out. With the parking it's always a hassle and it's disappointing when I can't or do not have time to stop and go through the difficulties of parking. It's ANNOYING. All the other shops are 7+ miles away. I really think you guys should do a parking lot in the back. Also the prices are ok. But nothing beats your hometown eh ? They were glorious but still. Much love

Place is always busy ..usually one worker behind counter working ..10 people in line and the manager just stands there and watches his employee struggle ..I own my own buissness and can tell you he'd be fired..because you're a manager customers should be you're #1 ..without us ..they don't need a manager ..most of staff is awesome however there is a girl there that has no idea what the measurements are for drinks ..so beware you're drink most likely will not taste the same as another winnans
