Coffee is very good here. $1.00 for an in store cup of French press coffee can't be beat! The music selection of heavy metal with profanity is not so nice though. The music selection depends on who is working though. It can be a hit or a miss. Highly recommend the coffee but you might sit outside with the smokers for some sanity if the music is crazy.

Everyone is always so friendly! In my opinion, Press has the best coffee in Dayton. I love the Oregon District location, it's very fresh and comfortable.

Does feel a skosh pretentious with regard to barista staff and overall experience. I was sitting with my back to the counter and never heard anything about my drink. It was sitting, lonely and defeated, on the counter. Would they ever have informed me it was ready? I can’t answer that, folks.
I felt like they were doing me a favor allowing me to experience their shop. Overly sensitive? Perhaps.
Coffee bar is constructed of plywood. But that’s just nitpicking I suppose.
If it’s close, utilize it. If not, there are many better.

Three of us stopped in for a quick cup of coffee and to warm up. A guy behind the counter took our order and was nice enough. We head to a table and begin taking off our coats as a lady who was working announces that they are closed. She was incredibly rude about the situation and literally asked us to leave. Would have been nice to mention that you were closing BEFORE pouring the coffee. Terrible experience - will not go back. Many better options in the area.

Tried to go here with a colleague to have a cup of coffee and talk business, but there were only a few tables inside and they were all taken by folks that looked like they were going to be there for a while (laptops out, books spread around). This was a Wednesday around 2:30pm. We really needed a place to sit, so unfortunately we didn't stay. But it had a great vibe otherwise!

Press is by far and away the best coffee in Dayton. Their new shop in Belmont had more space than the closet they have in the Oregon district. Want third wave coffee? Go here

The people and the coffee at Press are both pretty great. The place is usually pretty crowded, but there is a standing table that customers typically use as a staging ground while they wait for a seat to open up. If that sounds like a pain to you...well, it kind of is, but the coffee is worth it.

Press has the most consistently good cup of coffee in Dayton (and is one of the best coffee shops in Ohio in my opinion). Whether you order a macchiato, latte, or Ethiopian pour-over, you're going to get an incredible drink. The atmosphere is peaceful, well-lit, and well-decorated. Though the wi-fi is slow and the seating is a little limited, Press does what it does perfectly. It's a good place to meet with friends, drink something great before work, and think.

Not the best coffee, even the flavored drinks like lattes and cappuccinos were not that good. The atmosphere is amazing and it's adorable inside and the staff are kind. Just really gross coffee.

Went to work on an interior design project with classmates. We asked first thing if we could take some measurements as long as we did not disturb anyone. The lady I spoke to was nice and said that was fine. However, the other girl working was extremely rude and within 10 minutes of us sitting down told us basically to order something or leave. We had every intention of ordering once we got our measurements and could sit down. We then heard her talking to another customer, none too quietly, telling him we were “creeping her out” when he asked what we were working on. Overall a bad experience, the coffee was fine, staff rude to the point of making us feel uncomfortable and I will never go back or recommend to anyone.
