Blood Orange Tonic = 👍🏿👍🏿
FINALLY! A coffee bar that's simple yet qualitative! I went here one afternoon with a friend and enjoyed a delicious Blood Orange Tonic. Press wasn't crowded or pompous or fussy at all; no gimmicks or unnecessary items riddling the counter. Just a lovely, smartly decorated space with great beverages and inviting atmosphere.

A nice coffee spot with a barista that has talent for making very good and tasty coffee drinks. It has some small pastry bites to eat. If nearby, I would drop by to try them out.

Ordered the honey latte and it was great! It was bitter and sweet at the same time. Ambiance was very cute to sit down and catch up with a friend.

Had a very nice experience, service was very exceptional. Very good coffee. I had a honey latte with oat milk. FANTASTIC, and I don't drink much coffee but I would definitely go back!

Stopped by based on the reviews this place received. I'm new to Ohio and moved south of Dayton, so I went on a hunt for a great coffee shop near me, and this was it!
It's got a cool ambiance and a neat look, but you usually don't go to a coffee shop for that (or at least it is probably not a priority). I tried out the macchiato first, it was very well done and had a great flavor. Next up was the cappuccino, which was a success as well.
I definitely would recommend this place to anyone trying to get their coffee on and I'll be visiting this probably on regular basis now.y

This place is cool, but very small for a Coffeeshop. I barely found seating and the tables in the back part of the store are near only one outlet meaning you might have to fight for energy. On top of that, the back center table has no chairs, meaning is people want to sit at the table, they will have to take chairs from another table, and in this case, it was my table. I wasn't sitting with anyone else and I had two extra chairs, but if I was there with friends, I would have left two people who needed chairs to decide to sit elsewhere. Besides that, they have cute merchandise for the store. This is my biggest gripe, the size of the place, but how is their espresso? That's what is important.
It's good, fruity, and great in a latte. The cappuccino I had was a bit too fruity for me, but they don't lose a star because I don't prefer fruity espresso. Still, if you like a light roast espresso, this place is great. Smooth, balanced, and all the flavors are expressed within the drink.
I had a Cappuccino, Latte, Hot Chocolate, and Affogato. Out of all of them, the best drink was the Hot Chocolate. It was perfectly steamed and we'll mixed with rich chocolate and silky milk. The Affogato was perhaps the worst of them all. Either the shot was bad, or I really, really can't handle a light espresso, but it was pretty under-extracted and sour. When I drank the espresso with the creamy French Vanilla, I couldn't help but frown at the awful acidic mix of sweet and sour.
If you're looking for a place to sit down and relax with friends, then good luck finding a seat. If you're looking for a smooth, balanced, fruity light roast to start your day, then come to Press Coffee and enjoy some of the best in Dayton, Ohio. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area!

The barista with nose piercings on each nostril and brown hair was unnecessarily rude. My bf and I came in with his service animal to get a coffee. The barista, without saying hello or good morning, just barked “you can’t bring your dog in here” loudly and rudely. I don’t even she think she made eye contact with him. My boyfriend who has an “invisible disability” was embarrassed and tried to tell her she wasn’t a pet, but a service animal. The leash was red and yellow and had service animal written all over it, which she would’ve seen if she took a moment to look. We were maybe 2 feet away.
My bf was embarrassed and just waited outside because he is non confrontational. I got my coffee but I won’t be back. Especially when this isn’t the first negative interaction here.
A simple “good morning, welcome to press, is your dog a service animal?” would’ve been the professional route instead making people with disabilities feel burdensome…

I have stopped into Press 3 times in the past several months and each experience has been unique. The coffee has always been freshly prepared and each cup taste like the experience of years’ worth of knowledge used to create the recipes. If taste alone was the only factor this place would soar. Customer service could use double shot of ezpresso, but worth the effort if you have the time to wait it out,. The decor of the establishment: Minimal, straightforward and clean-cut. If you need a good stop for coffee check these guys out.

Best coffee in Ohio possibly the East Coast. I never leave disappointed. I always get exactly what I ordered made the right way. You may think that's not a big deal but trust me I drive 35 minutes one way just to get coffee because the coffee is so terrible everywhere else!
