Had a chance to meet the owners today and chat with them, they were both extremely friendly. Loved the atmosphere super relaxing, and of course the coffee was AMAZING! Highly recommend checking this place out.

Such a heart warming place, food and staff. It was truly an awesome experience to drink a cup of coffee and eat their amazing muffins and other delicacies. I feel that a piece of my heart will always stay at the Epic cafe. ❤❤❤❤

EPIC is one of my favorite coffee shops in Dayton! Great tasting coffee, plenty of alternate milks, super friendly staff! It has a nice cozy feel inside too!

Shop is nice, but the coffee is not. Have tried a few different things a few times hoping maybe it was just a old/bad the one time, but the regular coffee either isn't great quality or brewed improperly. Espresso is average, iced drinks are meh/about the same as anywhere else. Better off going to Boston Stoker, Press, or Ghostlight. Prices seem a bit too high for the quality.

This place is Awesome. 1/2 the price than that StarB###s Place. Hot Coffee, Cold..coffee not your thing they have tea, & pop. Bring the kids they sell Ice Cream too. Everything is Delicious. Definitely stop by & try it out.

The environment in this place is spectacular and great for sitting around to chat! The coffee options are flavorful and the avocado toast is a must have. I would rate it an 8 out of 5 for sure!

I love this place. The owners are so friendly, the atmosphere is great, and obviously the coffee is some of the best. They serve Deeper Roots.

So excited that this coffee shop is here! It's got a really nice vibe inside that reminds me of the coffee shops I go to in New York. There are tables, a counter and cozy little alcoves with couches. The staff were really friendly and still in that "we're so glad you came in, let us impress you!" stage of a new business. I was surprised to see they also have ice cream (may have been gelato, I didn't read the signs) and a food menu in addition to the scones and pastries in the small case.
The coldbrew was solid. I love that they have macadamia milk! Soda was good. The one hot drink I ordered was not great but that's on me because I ordered a flat white with coconut milk. I knew as soon as it came out of my mouth it was a really bad idea. The barista didn't actually know what a flat white was and I tried to explain but that coconut milk was going to sabotage it regardless. We also tried their version of a frappuccino and it was better than that other place, mostly because their homemade whip cream was not overly sweet and so thick and creamy.
The only problem is location. That corner shopping strip has always been a pain. I'm a little worried about parking. Of course we all put up with it when Bagel cafe was there. Just don't expect to always find a spot outside the door when this place picks up.
