Rising Star Coffee Roasters

One of the smoothest cortados I’ve had the pleasure of tasting. Baristas were sweet and happy to chat. They seemed pleasantly surprised that I came across them after a quick google search for roasters in the area. I’m from out of town but also a barista, and I like to try local coffee spots whenever I travel.
Chai was good, a little spicy but we like it that way. Cortado was absolutely amazing, I almost went back in for a second one. Aeropress felt a bit weak to me, flavor did not evolve nicely. Vietnamese cold brew with the condensed milk was awesome! I usually don’t like much sugar in my coffee and they made it half sweet which was perfect.
Overall still a 10/10 experience and I look forward to coming back for another delicious cortado

Impeccable coffee and great atmosphere. A perfect way to start the day. Staff is friendly and efficient. A great place to meet with friends or sit quietly in a corner and sip.

Coffee flavors are amazing. I have tried several and none have disappointed. While I only make it to the shop about once a week I have exclusively brewed Rising Star at home for several months and will continue to do so.

A key detail for me is drink presentation, on a tray with a glass of sparkling water. A small detail, but one that sets them apart from other shops.

The service was great and the coffee was amazing. The only thing that need improvement is the wifi. It was not connecting well and we were both having problems with it and that made it difficult to work from the shop.

For lovers of good specialized coffee from their roaster, good service, and a quiet place, whether inside the café or outside, there you will find your place. I drank with them an espresso from Peru and also matcha with almond milk. They were nice when they knew that I am a fan of specialized coffee and that I am visiting America, so they gave me a quarter of a filter coffee. Thank you for your kind treatment. I'm not a huge coffee fan, but Rising Star has some great options all around. One of my favorites is ordering a chai latte with a scoop of cardamom bomb mix. The baristas are always friendly and efficient!

Their outside patio is spacious and a perfect place to relax and sip on a drink with your dog! (Dog tax, this is one of my girls Daisy.)

My favorite local coffee shop. All of their drinks are well balanced, every season there are new drinks to choose from, and there is plenty of room outside and in the dinner side for studying or mingling with others!

Nice location with a great amount of seating. The baristas were very pleasant and the coffee I had was very good. They have a number of options to try but I went with the mocha. They also have some merch and coffee brewing supplies which all looked to be of reputable brands. Very much worth the walk if you are visiting the area.

I had a maple cappuccino and it was delicious. My friend had a regular drip coffee and enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. Service was fast. Very cute location, too. Covid precautions were followed. All in all, a good experience.

Rising Star is definitely the best coffee in Cleveland and this little place is so cute. Nice outside tables. Plus, they are serving the best bagels in Cleveland (Cleveland Bagel.)
