Nice place to visit to do work, but the coffee isn't that great nor is the selection of drink types. The pastries we bought were also too dry. I'll be back for the atmosphere but probably won't be buying any drinks/food.

Phoenix has been Cleveland's best coffee chain for decades, every location is awesome highly recommend. Great coffee, great snacks, great design and a socially conscious company.

Carry-out only right now. The cortado is my current fave coffee drink. Also pleased that {hoenix is employee owned. Why go to a national chain when you can sip local?

Great espresso, drip coffee, and treats (chocolate sweet potato muffins, I'm coming for you...!). Friendly warm atmosphere, despite Covid. I just heard they are becoming a collective, too, love it!

Great coffeeshop with excellent coffee and a chill atmosphere. Come here to do work, chat with a friend, or unwind on your weekend. Only thing is this place is typically quite busy so finding a seat may be hard.

In terms of drinks and baristas, it's hit or miss if your drink will actually be good and your barista kind/personable. If you're lactose intolerant, don't bother to go for any milk based because soy is trash and their almond milk needs help. They hit it out of the park on their coffee and coffee beans. I love the vibe, wish it was a little cozier, but it's a place to be no matter what season for a refreshment.

The music is kind of loud and the songs are outdated. I think they’re trying to come across as vintage, but it’s hard to focus on reading or talking to a friend. I didn’t see many options to eat or drink when I went. I was hungry, so I ordered the only option they had (a vegan cookie) and it tasted really bad. It looked pretty ugly, and it tasted how it looked. The seating is painful, but I probably would go again if I was in the area and craving something. It’s not the worst, but I’m disappointed.

Best Cortado in Cleveland. The staff is amazing and have done such a great job during the past year navigating this pandemic while still maintaining a welcoming environment.

My FAVORITE coffee shop out of any I’ve ever been to in Cleveland. Very quality drinks and treats (coffees, teas, seasonal items, and local Cleveland treats). Great prices for the quality, great vibe, and very relational employees!!

Nice service and friendly staff and nice coffee overall. BUT, i was very disappointed by the coffee beans for sale. I own a Delonghi EC-155, which is cheap and no way near a good machine, so in order to get a nice shot, i need; 1) fresh beans and 2) an even ground.
I've tried the fresh coffee sold in bulks in Fresh Market, Whole Foods, and etc, but I found their grinders to be uneven and did not get a clean shot. I decided to give Phoenix Coffee a try. I stopped by around April 13th, seeking to buy some fresh beans for my espresso machine. I asked for beans to be ground for my espresso machine, and a staff opened a bag from the shelf for the coffee to be ground. The roasting date on the bag was April 1, which was almost 2 weeks old. Some bags were dated mid and early March, which was more shocking.
I had ordered a pound of beans, and as expected I could not pull off clean shots from my machine. I'd recommend the place for stopping by to get some coffee or get some study time in, but not to buy coffee beans.
