Proud Hound Coffee

I stopped by this afternoon hoping for a chill place to get some work done, and I think they totally delivered it. My shrimp and grit was great and my espresso really showed their cafe quality. But I think what truly set them apart was their amazing service: every staff I met there was super friendly. I would recommend PH to everyone!

This is a favorite place to visit. The food is always amazing and I love their seasonal items. The coffee is also really great and also with great seasonal options. I typically meet there with friends and we get different food options so we can share and try different things because all of the food options sound so good. It's always a wonderful atmosphere to sit in; it's relaxing and friendly

The coffee dry rub on the Good Cluckin Morning for breakfast and Wings for dinner IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE!

The Spice Gorl is an amazing, seasonal latte to try. I've also bought a bag of Columbian decaf coffee beans for home.

Such a delicious menu and you really can't go wrong with anything you choose.

Megan was our server for dinner and gave us great recommendations. I hope she gets spring break off!

I don’t write reviews often but I love this place so much. I was bummed to discover there wasn’t a Starbucks on the route of my morning commute because I like their ability to order online and pickup, but that ended up being for the best, because Proud Hound is SO much better AND you can order online for pickup. And the people who work there are so nice. Whenever I stop in to pick up, even if I’m early, they always check what I’ve ordered and get started right away if they’re not busy. They always ask if I’ve also ordered food, and if I have, they go check on it (the food is also great, by the way). Faster than Starbucks, better value, my mocha is always the same great taste every time (I’ve found Starbucks hit or miss with consistency), and I love supporting a local shop in my community. Win win win!

Not only is the coffee great, but the hot food is great too- unique sandwiches, vegetarian and vegan options, always prepared perfectly. If their kitchen has "off days" I've never noticed. The staff are also super friendly and kind. The price point for coffee and food is a bit higher than I think it should be, but if that means their staff is getting paid well then I think it's a good deal.

Overall, a wonderful coffee place. We ordered a mocha and a vanilla latte, both were delicious, but the mocha really stood out. It was one of the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot of mochas). It took a while for our coffees to be made, but they were slammed so that is understandable. Someone (a manager, I believe) did take notice that we'd been waiting a while and checked on the drinks for us, so that was appreciated. We also ordered The Basic sandwich (it came out a lot faster than the coffee), the biscuit was good, but the sandwich itself wasn't anything to write home about. I guess it lives up to the name lol. Could have used a sauce or spread of some kind. The atmosphere is nice, it's well decorated and on theme. It was loud, but once again they were slammed, so that's understandable. I'm interested to try the drip coffee given how well they made the espresso. Definitely a place I will visit again.

This is my husband and I’s FAVORITE coffee shop in the greater Cincinnati area. They roast their own coffee and that is a major plus in our book. My husband loves their house espresso and I always get their iced mocha. And I am not exaggerating when I say they have the best breakfast food I have EVER had.

Proud hound is my favorite neighborhood place. Their attention to detail and quality of coffee is almost unmatched in Cincinnati. I love that they have gluten free and vegan options so everyone can find something here :)) my favorite is the seasonal gf/v taquitos. plus the ambiance is so fun n cute!!!

We arrived about an hour before close so there was only one cup of coffee available. It was not hot. We were offered an Americano however it was not a good Americano. The customer service was good and the place was a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Coffee is more important to me than the "look". I also was told no dogs inside and yet it's called Proud Hound. Strange!
