What can I say about Proud Hound that shouldn't already be well known?
From the time I met them at the Cincinnati Coffee Festival volunteering, before they had a roasting space or a shop, these people have been just great human beings. Ever since the Cafe opened, it's been a staple in our rotation. The foundation of excellent coffee and personable service continues, and the food is top notch. Lately I've been really enjoying the pastry selections, as a small bite to go with my pour over.
Highly recommended. Do visit. Enjoy!

I was meeting a friend for coffee…and surprisingly they have many gluten free food options. I never would have known, so be sure to ask!
The flavors were a culinary experience, the layout is cool (indoor and outdoor seating).
A great outing and very memorable.
Delicious! Here are some pics…

Beautiful aesthetic with some real nice food and beverages. We got there around noon and the line was easily 20 people deep. A quick peruse of their varied menu already got me excited because all the food sounded amazing. I ended up with their take on a Nashville hot chicken sandwich on a biscuit and an iced elderflower tea. The chicken got its heat from a nice spice rub that was a perfect balance of heat and sweetness. I definitely needed water, but it wasn’t so hot that I was crying! The fresh pickles and hot honey on a flatter biscuit made it an easy win. The tea was standard as well. I really liked that kitchen was visible because it was cool to see the cooks prepping up a storm. I would love to become a regular here.

Wow! I’d only been here once before, several months back, for a coffee with friends, and only very recently visited again for brunch.
Although I liked the atmosphere and latte during my first visit, I wasn’t going out of my way to make the trip out to a neighborhood I rarely visit. But after the banana fosters grilled cheese, donut holes, and grits dish I tried this past weekend, I will be back more frequently.
The girl working the register was also super warm & welcoming.

We love Proud hound for coffee and their eclectic breakfast menu. As if we couldn't love it any more, we went to their late night last night and had the best burger and fries we have had in a very long time. Our server was great and took some time out to talk to us and talk about the plans for the shop and patio. We so enjoyed making that connection with conversation. Overall from the people to the coffee to the food, we are SO lucky to have this spot in our neighborhood!!!

Wow, this is such a comfortable and beautiful space! From the friendly guy at the counter to the amazing food - oh and the latte to die for - I can't wait to return! The Breakfast Taquitos were so so good. I'm blown away at the little neighborhood gem!

Delicious coffee and pastries with a modern vibe. Employees are really kind and conversational. Try the five spice flavor. Really incredible selections. Gift shop area was a bit expensive but I bought stuff anyways lol

I’ve been here several times, and luckily it’s only 5 minutes away from my house because it is so tasty!! It’s kind of pricey if you’re looking for a cheap coffee, but the flavors explain why it costs more. They are a local roaster and have their own coffee beans. The flavors of the food and drinks are amazing. The vibes are great, nice and open space with good music. They also have dinner on certain nights with outdoor seating coming soon! Do yourself a favor and get a matcha latte or coffee and you won’t be sorry!

Absolutely unbelievable coffee shop. Reminds me in the best way of coffee shops in my hometown of Portland, OR, as well as Melbourne style coffee and brunch cafes. The food is excellent, and the coffee menu is absolutely exceptional--had a cortado, cold brew, pour over, and an espresso and all were perfectly executed. Staff is very friendly, and the space is inviting and well decorated with great art and iconography.
Definitely a gem and worth a detour!

Nice place, couldn't figure out where to park. Ended up parking in the lot right before the building. Blue Matcha tasted like a London Fog, It was good. Customer service was cool. Very Spacious inside. Kitchen closed on Tuesdays so didn't get to try any food.
