Nervous Dog Coffee Bar, Akron

Five stars because I will drive out of my way for it. I drink black coffee... boring... and at home I make pretty good coffee. But their coffee I can't exactly replicate at home. Their beans are very good.

Five stars is "loved it". I don't 5 star lightly... they're really that good. Again, speaking just for the plain black coffee (and the service - always nice bunch).

My favorite place to go to when my kids are at their dance lessons next door. Laid back atmosphere and friendly service! Kudos to them when I spilled my full drink and they made me anew one with out question or hesitation. Couldn't ask for a better barista!

I would probably be here all the time if I didn't live a block away from Angel Falls. Nervous dog has great coffee and a really nice atmosphere. They seem to be really involved in the community and have lots of cool events going on.

Baristas are knowledgeable and not totally stuck up like at some coffee places. They have a wide selection of drinks, beans & sweets. Be sure to join the loyalty program too.

Hands down- BEST COFFEE SHOP IN AKRON! Very cozy with dim lighting, comfy little coves to hide in and good product/service. Only gripe and I guess not really a gripe, but more funny story-the restroom requires a key and a trip through a common hallway. I chose the wrong door and ended up in a dance school during lessons. Very awkward for a grown man to stagger into a herd of 5 year old ballerinas who all stopped immediately and stared as I thundered through the door while already working my belt undone.

I’m from out of town and stopped in before heading back home. I ended trying the nitro and a scone (lemon poppyseed).

Although my experience drinking nitro brewed is very limited, I have to say that this was one good brew! The scone was not bad either (very comparable to other coffee shops I’ve visited). I would recommend this coffee bar and will certainly return when I visit the area again.

Great cozy little place to get coffee! Always friendly staff only wish there were more seating . The recently added outdoor patio adds a much needed space and is a beautiful refuge from a hectic day. <3

Great atmosphere and coffee! They always have really good mochas and lattes. This is a smaller location but there's still room to get work done
