Copper Dog Cafe

Cute little place on Main in Mandan. Waffles were good and the staff was really friendly! I have a suggestion: napkins on the tables- the waffles were a bit messy.

They need to hire on more staff! I came in today (2/8/23) around 11am and there was only one girl running the entire place. The poor girl had about 10 orders that she was taking care of all on her own. If the owners can't find staff then they need to be in there working as well, not leave the running of the entire place to one hourly employee. This is not how you run a business!

Really busy place that offers waffles and drinks. The vanilla latte was awesome. Go early on the weekends!

Okay, these waffles are delicious! Stopped by on our way back to Minnesota for coffee and a quick breakfast. The Copper Dog does not disappoint! I had the monthly special, a lemon & blueberry treat. My boyfriend had a regular waffle with butter and syrup. Both delicious! Highly recommend!!

$25 3 mistakes, and was hungry one hour later. For the price I was hoping for extra large waffles, but these were normal size. They texture and taste were very good, service was quick. However there was only one bottle of communal syrup for the entire restaurant and they didn’t have hot sauce. Also if you ordered the rookie you could have sour cream or ketchup if you wanted both it was a dollar extra. I felt bad of the teens running the shop, they seemed flustered and were trying their best. Hopefully they figure the kinks out!

Biscuit & Gravy waffle was awesome. Had a regular coffee too, temperature was perfect. This is a gem of a place. I'll definitely be back.

First stop here. Very cute place with a lot of character. Ordered The Rookie, Biscuits and Gravy and The Full Count and coffees. We were happy with all of our choices and will definitely be back the next time we are in Mandan.

When I travel to the Bismarck/Mandan area. I love the food at Copper Dog. Always new gluten-free items and good service!

I got the rookie waffle and my wife got the gravyard waffle. Both were very well made and delicious. This is definitely the cafe to eat at if you want something a bit different.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Got Italian sodas and waffles; it was fantastic with a relaxed chill vibe. If you love waffles, this place is your place!
