3rd day in town and decided to stop here for lunch. I got an Iced oat milk latte, fabulous! Also got the Full Count waffle, the peanut butter and bananas made it so filling, fed my sweet tooth perfectly. My dad got the strawberry cheesecake waffle and said it was very tasty. He also got the strawberry watermelon Italian ice and said it was absolutely excellent, drank it in a matter of minutes! Will 100% come again, especially for coffee, and would be a fun date idea for couples :)

Good food with a cool twist on waffles and a nice spot. Free wifi also

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!!
Super delicious waffles. Get the cinnamon roll one, you won't regret it!!
Also have savory waffles if you don't want something sweet.
And the coffee is awesome! BONUS!!

Visited this morning with some family. We ordered the Banana nut waffle, the rookie, and a plain waffle. Also ordered a cold brew and 2 cafe mocha. The banana nut waffle had just the right amount of balance for toppings and was delicious, very well done. The rookie was tasty and innovative, ordered with the sour cream. Service was fantastic and everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere was fun and lively. I would definitely return and recommend to others.

Copper dog is mine and my partners favorite spot in the Mandan area. We stop in this cute little place at least once a week for their custom waffles! I’ve worked my way through the menu and my favorites are definitely the Rookie, and their American pie waffles! We tell all our friends about it!

Ambiance was very nice. Very clean. Coffee was good. Staff was friendly and polite. The gym in the back for kids seems like a really neat concept too.
I LOVE waffles, so I was very excited about coming here, especially with all the 5 star reviews. I am from out of town, and ordered from here twice for a total of four waffles. For each one, I had high expectations and every time I was let down, each time harder than the last. After my first two, I thought I would try and give it a second chance. However, after my second two (Cinnamon roll and biscuits and gravy...couldn't even finish them) there's no way I would ever come back.
Nothing tasted like it was made fresh, let alone in-house...think hotel waffles with store-bought toppings. If these were half the price, I would give it 3 stars, but for a $9 waffle, I expect much, much better.
*My advice to the owner would be, look at what you're paying to have everything store bought or frozen, and think hard about how much cheaper it is to make things from scratch...all that's required is more time, but your end product quality will be much, much better. Your concept is great, location and ambiance are great, the execution is very poor. Check out "Waffle Love" or other similar restaurants: everything there is made from scratch, tastes better, and is even cheaper.*
I had the following Waffles:
Chicken and Waffle - generic waffle batter and frozen chicken tenders reheated in an air fryer. The waffle itself was good, but nothing special.
Uninspired and just ok. (2.5-3 stars)
Rookie - Also just ok. Hash browns were not crispy and were more like potato chunks than actual hashbrowns. Waffle kind of fell apart (almost like it was made of scrambled eggs with a little bit of waffle batter mixed in). Flavor fell flat for me, but someone I was with said they thought it was good. Crispy (real) bacon bits would have been better for texture than the soft ham imo. (2.5 stars)
Cinnamon Roll - Inexcusably bad. Literally nothing more than canned Pillsbury cinnamon roll dough and put in a waffle iron, then the canned frosting poured on top. If you're going to charge that much...at least make some homemade creamcheese frosting to go with the canned dough! (1 star)
Biscuits and Gravy - Also inexcusably bad. Another "Pillsbury special" with "free hotel breakfast gravy" and WAYYY over salted. (1 star)

Made my first visit this morning to celebrate a little girl’s birthday. The atmosphere is great- really cute inside and loved the open garage door on this beautiful morning. I was happy to see most tables were full of people.
We ordered the Walk Off, Full Count with no chocolate sauce and an American Flag. All were tasty and they accommodated our special request. The coffee is also quite good.
I’d like to see a kid’s sized selection as neither of my littles could eat the entire waffle, and also could not agree on toppings so I didn’t have the option to split one between the two. Maybe they would do that had I asked. At $8.50 a waffle, it gets expensive with kids.
However, they provided a “to go” box, so hopefully this can also be lunch!
Overall, they have great waffles and coffee with friendly service in an adorable atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend you try it. This is a great addition to downtown Mandan!

Excellent waffles! Unique combinations! My favorite is the gravy and biscuits waffle! Service was fantastic and my coffee hit the spot! Definitely recommend! Nice comfortable atmosphere!

Really great coffee and waffles. Lots of variety too - classic combos like chicken and waffles, pb and bananas, to crazy stuff like a pizza waffle. You can even build your own. The staff is super friendly as well. I’m pretty sure I just stumbled across my new favorite breakfast spot!
