Drift Cafe Wrightsville Beach

Sooo glad we finally got to Drift at Wrightsville. We both agree, best breakfast around here. Scrambled eggs were Perfect! Bacon crispy and tasty, mmm. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked yummy. They did a great job on the interior, bright and clean. Nice deck for warm days. Service was on point and cheerful. Our new favorite breakfast🚀

Coconut date ball was very good. Peppermint mocha coffee was OK but not very hot. I ordered at the register and asked if it was OK to sit anywhere 🙃.

The server told me that this was not a coffee shop so I could only sit outside since I didn't order a meal. Wow. It's a Thursday about 10 in the morning and the place was less than half full.

This hurt my feelings but at least the temp was in the 60s, so I could sit and process this by making a review. 😅 By the way this is my first ever one star review. 🌟

My wife and I had brunch here with our son, who lives in Wilmington, NC. Staff are very friendly and efficient. They have plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. Food in general was delicious, especially their fluffy pancakes.

Exceptional. Food, service, atmosphere, just EVERYthing! Don’t miss the Smoked Salmon Benny. Wish I could go back and do it all again! Maybe tomorrow. ❤️

Healthy fare at a great price, with an amazing view. Il be back undoubtedly. The quinoa dish was incredible.

Excellent service and the atmosphere is bright and airy. My wife & I were there for lunch and there were only 2 traditional lunch items on the menu, smashburger and chicken sandwich. I found the burger very well done and dry. The chicken was a large, fairly thin piece and I could not tell if it was white or dark meat. Also, it had a faint taste of fish. No soft drinks but ice cold water was served in a large bottle left on the table. The salted chocolate chip cookie was delicious. The tab for above plus a glass of tea and tip was about $48, which I found pricey.

More items available for breakfast but healthy eating is the dominant theme. For some, this would be enjoyable. For me, I will not return.

We were here slightly off season so dealing for 6 was quick. Good spice on the bloody Mary and the mimosas are strong. Kids pancake was big and flavorful. French toast was beautiful, crispy potatoes were ... Crispy. Great bacon and pulled pork was tender and flavorfull ..

Great location, extremely friendly staff, and delicious food. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was HUGE! Best fried chicken I've had outside of New Orleans. Loads of crispy and flavorful battered skin on the outside and juicy chicken on the inside. The fries had an herb seasoning that was amazing. They can get pretty busy but that happens when a restaurant has such good food and service. Highly recommend!

Fabulous Americano coffee. Delicious scone. My friend had eggs benny with salmon and green tea. She shared some with me and it was yummy.
Views of the boatyard and Masonboro cut were great background!
