Cute little gem tucked away in a little alley. Nice place to come and unwind with a cup of coffee or nice cocktail, people watch or bring your laptop and work. They have an adjacent bookstore that is definitely worth checking out as well.

So glad we found this trifecta: bar, coffee shop, and bookstore (shared space with Bookmarks). Tons of seating inside in a huge space (spread out), one table with chairs outside. Several Foothills beers on tap and a full food menu (cooked at the adjacent Foothills brewery which has table service). Loved that I could do work while my family browsed the bookstore and played games. Highly recommend!

We ordered two coffee flights. So SO SO good. My husband finished his and I took mine to go as they were such big drinks. Staff was wonderful. Very talkative and made us feel welcome. 10/10 would recommend.

What a wonderful place! Great layout for 6 feet considerations. Offering a full menu and a full bar for fantastic cocktails. The staff was friendly and the beer selection wide from the Foothills brewery next door. Stop into the bookshop to peruse a wide variety of written genres! Fun for families, date night or solo adventuring!

My first time here!! I came to meet a photographer and decided to order a cortado. It's been a long time since I've had a great cortado. Nathan was super sweet and greeted me with a smile upon entering. When I asked if they were versed in cortados Nathan told me that one the very skilled baristas Nathan could make it best!
Let me tell you!!. I know a great cortado when I get one.
I ordered a cortado with oat milk.
This baby was super silky, not too much milk froth and no bitters from the espresso. You can tell this came from a well roasted bean and poured by a skilled barista. No sweeteners needed. I definitely will come back for another cortado!
The space was very large. Plenty of seating and nice natural light. Connected to the bookstore. They also have great outside seating.
Love the vibe and the espresso.

Every time I go the staff is always helpful and friendly. They have dark roast which seems hard to come by at the non-chains. They also have jazz on plenty of Monday evenings! Pretty cool location with the book store and book-related artwork around

I was in town for a doctor's appointment and needed to kill some time. I saw the cool-looking sign, parked, and started walking in. The alleyway walking into this place was very artistic. Then when you get inside, it's huge. From the alleyway, you walk into the coffee shop. To your left is a large bookstore, and on your right is a bar with a large seating area. I had a great cup of Jo and walked around the bookstore. It was a very pleasant experience.

My favourite coffee shop in town. Really nice staff and great coffee. Lots of room to work or read. I've eaten here a couple times and the food was good.

We brought my service dog in training into the coffee shop and were greeted by the clerk. He asked us if she was a service animal, and it was listed on her harness, so he said that she was okay, and moved on (after commenting something about the health inspector not allowing animals). The second clerk came up, and he asked the same thing, having missed our conversation. I told him that she is a service dog in training, protected by federal law (ADA), and he just reiterated that she couldn't stay, due to the health inspector. There were also other customers who had an ESA in the shop with them, but they were not even approached. I pointed that out. My dog is well behaved, and she merely stood beside me while I was looking at the menu board. It was a nice day, so I took her out to the patio while the drinks were made, but it's illegal to deny access to a service dog in training, even if you serve food. Perhaps your staff can look up the file from NC DHHS about how to welcome guests with service animals, because the second clerk indicated he was only doing what he thought was "right." 🙁

I seriously don't recommend coming here for coffee. It tastes as if they over roast the coffee beans, or something. They're always bitter, and watered down. I've tried about 4 coffee beverages, and yesterday I had an iced chai latte hoping they couldn't disappoint with that either, but it was the same experience I've had every time I've gone here. Watered down and overall unappetizing. Every time I've had their coffee, I've gotten a headache and felt nauseas and gross. I strongly recommend going somewhere else.
The only good thing I can say is that the location is nice. It connects to a restaurant and a bookestore. The vibe of the place is nice, but avoid the coffee at all costs, literally, because it's overpriced for the quality.
