I have been a customer since they started the business here. I love there coffees and healthy muffins. The only negative some of the stores need some freshening up .I don't let that stop me though. It is homey and tasty.

Best coffee! Wish we had one where we lived. I always go to a Port City Java if I am ever near one.

Being new to the area, I’d been looking for a coffee shop to treat myself occasionally when I stumbled across the Black and Tan at Port City Java!!! Sooo yummmy! The employees were very friendly and the coffee was great!! Definitely going back for more!!

Was in the other morning and wanted to have a little breakfast sandwich, decided against it, because ALL the servers had stringy hair hanging below their shoulders, and one kept touching her hair to pull it to the side. Also, their inspection grade was 94.8 made me question cleanliness. Lots of other places to have Joe and a sandwich that try harder to assure quality service.

We have visited this location several times in the last 6 monha when we were on vacation in this area. The coffee is very good but the staff has never been friendly any of the times we have visited We were surprised when we came today and they had 2 light roast and a house blend but no bold coffee. Seriously on a Monday morning!

Stopped here for a quick cup of coffee on our way back to Raleigh from Kure beach. It wasn't much of a detour and for me, the coffee was way better than Starbucks. I ordered the cappuccino based frappe and it was exactly what I had been craving ater a day at the beach. :-)

Best coffee in Wilmington, and everyone is so nice. Even during all this bad stuff, the employees are insanely nice when I'm sure they're stressed like the rest of us. Love this location and business.

I go here All the time. I do love it. Staff is great. My only complaint is pcj has taken ALL the good muffins. Didn't even bring the red velvet back during the holidays. And so many more. If anyone from pcj and sees this plz bring some of the oldies but goodies then o can bring my business back to pcj and leave Durkin donuts. Thank you
