Maven Coffee

Living in Wilmington for more than 20 years, I have invested lots of time into many of the amazing coffee shops in town. Maven Coffee is superior, in that they directly source their specialty coffee from an organic farm in their home town of Colombia. Each cup is prepared with expertise and educational thoughtfulness and served from the owners Nico and Diana.

Very impressed with the matcha latte I had. Got to chat with the owner a bit and his passion for his craft is so wonderful. Between seeing him work and the quality of my drink I can tell how much love he has put into his business. Highly recommend.

Maven Coffee is specialty coffee at its best. I’ve never tasted Colombian coffee like this, and it’s perfect. Owners Diana and Nico are friendly and knowledgeable, happy to help customers find a coffee they’ll love.

The young couple behind the counter are two of the most inspired and kind coffee connoisseurs I have ever met! They are deeply passionate and endlessly well-versed in their art.

Coffee was awesome, very very nice owner! He was ready to educate us on anything we needed about the coffee.
