Sophie's Café-Bistro

I had the chicken panini and it was good, the decor is pretty but 0 refills given and the value for the money is not good. I paid $8 for a flatbread with only cheese for my father. Unacceptable. I asked the lady at the register what came on it and she said it is a "regular flatbread pizza" so I assumed that it would have pizza toppings. Learned my lesson but glad to contribute to a local business.

When I placed my order, asked my server if there was any mustard or mayo on the sandwich. I was told "no," so I asked for some mayo on the side. I was NOT told that they charge $0.50 for a side of mayo!

When I got the bill, it had $0.50 for "extra" dressing - there was no dressing on the sandwich! I have never heard of a restaurant charging extra for condiments!!! If they would have only told me mayo would cost extra, I would have declined.

While paying I told the owner that I was not told that condiments cost extra, he said "everything costs" in a condescending French accent and shrugged his shoulders.

After the server delivered my food, I never saw her again and did not get a refill for my drink which sat empty on the the table the majority of the time while I ate.

Super cute eclectic place!! Decorated with beautiful antiques!! They are the friendliest people!! Our first time visiting and yet it feels like we've been coming here for years! Highly recommend making this a stop on your trip!! You won't regret it!!

I absolutely love the Lenie and that's what I always get! My son got the McMillian and loved every bite! The girls that were there today were so nice, as always Service was great.

Great cafe! We stopped on our way to the beach. 6 minutes from highway and very high quality food. We will be back :)

Just visited Sophie's and what a delightful place. Good food nice old building that is well preserved. The staff was extremely friendly!!!! Worth stopping in for sure. Thanks!!! Glad to meet Sophie's relatives!!!

With my experiences here the food is admired by the community, but not to my liking, the decor is cute and really gives off a small locally owned business vibe, but the smell of the place is something indescribable, simply walking past here on my way home makes me gag for breath with how strong it is.
