I can't say enough wonderful things about Yellow Mug! We go every weekend for brunch, and often during the week for lunch/dinner. The food is superb and the staff and owners treats you like family. Josh makes the BEST drinks - we usually just let him pick what drinks to make and they are always so delicious. Brunch always lasts me two meals, and the prices are fantastic, especially for this area. This place is the shining star of Weaverville, and honestly Asheville too. I love they have such flexible hours so you can stop in almost anytime you are out and about. If you want to be greeted with a smile and eat truly delicious creations, you have to stop by Yellow Mug! Also, I am obsessed with the "FRIENDS" theme to the menu <3

The coffee and food are just a perk of this sweet little shop! The atmosphere is great and so warm! You must see their outdoor setup with the mural it’s beautiful. Definitely a little piece of heaven! 10/10 would recommend you to take a drive and check it out!

This place is the best. Friendly staff, excellent food, and the coffee is always spot on. I go all the time and everything from the matcha to the golden milk to lunch items is spot on. Pro-tip: try the pasta salad with caesar dressing as a side instead of the regular salad!

We moved to Weaverville recently but didn't 'find' Yellow Mug until a few months later. Now, we are hooked and getting breakfast, coffee and tea there several times a week before we sit down in our home offices to get to work. Our mornings are usually hurried, trying to get in the last wink of sleep and (sometimes) a workout. That doesn't leave much time to make breakfast.
We've had the bagel sandwich, the breakfast burrito and others. I have nothing bad to say about any of them. My wife, allergic to dairy, has also had the vegan option bagel sandwich. They all taste fantastic. The coffee and tea choices are great, the service is always friendly and welcoming.
If you live in the area and have never given them a try or, live in the area and haven't been there in a long time, go support local and a great spot of heaven in Weaverville!

The overall atmosphere of Yellow Mug is so great. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We've overed in and taken out and thoughly enjoyed both experiences. The food is AMAZING. The Luck of The Irish Hash is literally the best breakfast food I've ever had and the Aztec Mocha is super tasty.

If I could go here every day, I would! A perfect spot for your morning coffee, midday lunch break, or post-work-wind-down. Great atmosphere and service, and I especially love the additional seating out on their patio! I had a delicious pumpkin chai latte with just the right amount of sweetness. Delightful. And the FOOD. Y'all. The food. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. We were fortunately able to sample all of their salads and sandwiches and I was honestly surprised by how delicious it all was (because who expects to be blown away by a salad or a sandwich? not this girl). There wasn't a single thing I tasted that I wouldn't happily order again (and again). Can't wait to go back and support this wonderful new business!

I always try to go here if I'm in the area! There is a great atmosphere, friendly service, and fantastic food and coffee that both make me leave feeling good and happy. I love the nitro cold brew, the muffins, the bagels, and the rotating menu with a good blend of some traditional southern fare and just the right amount of creative liberty :)

Food and coffee are delicious, all baked goods are either local or baked in house, but the highlight of my visit was the service. The whole staff seems to work well together, and the energy is high. The owners opened boldly in a pandemic last October, and from what I can tell, are tackling the challenge head on. Worth the trip for sure.

Very good coffee. Nice location with outdoor seating. Road is busy by the porch but the vines make it feel a bit more private. The cookies are good, one I had was very dry but the other two were very good. Try the salted chocolate chip. Friendly service even when things were very busy.
