Really enjoyed this place! And we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. The seasoning of the potatoes was really great đź‘Ť

A great little treasure of a find in downtown Waxhaw. My daughter had a nearby soccer game and we stopped in afterwards for lunch. The Provisions Waxhaw store and restaurant were charming and great. Reminded me of an General Mast store that you see up in the mountains with local made products.

We tried out a local vendor selling home baked goods (cookies and lemon bars) that were fantastic. Inside is also a small cafe with a great sandwich menu. Pricing was reasonable and portion sizes were good and taste was really good.

If passing through town or nearby, I'd definitely recommend stopping by to eat lunch and check this place out.

Counter service. Good is so-so, and priced high. There are many better places to eat in the area

The place was really put together and had a strong emphasis on local products. It seemed great until I received my oatmeal I ordered as it seemed like processed oatmeal and microwaved. It was $4.25 as well so I expected more.

I loved it here! I was able to find loose tea (chamomile, spearmint, etc). I also had lunch that was very fresh and delicious! Will be back for sure!

Interesting take on a bistro, fit to a throwback venue in a classic NC small town. Provisions dining room shares space with an impressive array of edible novelties. It's in a restored storefront, half sit down dining room (finished in casual kitchen) with beautiful broad beam flooring, painted wainscot ceiling and enormous glass windows looking to the busy sidewalk...and half vintage hardware store shelving filled with specialty coffees, teas, jams, preserves and much more. The menu is appealing and our french toast breakfast sandwiches two thick, perfect slices holding egg, cheese, smoky bacon and a perfect complement of a mildly peppery chipotle were done with top shelf ingredients, carefully prepared and were worth a return trip. The vibe is comfortable, laid back, quality driven at reasonable prices.

Good food and a hometown feel. Prices for sandwiches are reasonable. I recommend the hot sandwiches, as the cold ones tend to be on the smaller side. The staff was friendly and I appreciated their help. There are many local grocery goods for sale as well as gifts, but I was simply there for the delicious food.

The Provisions in this province are top notch. Family friendly, locally sourced, and super friendly staff make this exemplary of area offerings. Food options are tasty and reasonable and there are plenty of options for diet conscious, vegan, or vegetarian! Awesome setting in historic downtown Waxhaw is a must!

Best meatloaf sandwich I've ever had. Couple that with grape Nehi soda. I'm in heaven!

I wish our experience was similar to the other reviews. We waited for 30 minutes after ordering. The only thing potentially worth the wait was the Reuben. It was hard to find the small amount of chicken salad in the wrap which was 90% tortilla... and no grapes at all. The other meals were just ok. Don’t think we will be coming back.
