The Farmhouse Mercantile & Coffee Bar

Love the coffee especially the iced macchiato with caramel and hazelnut....I throw in an extra shot when I need it. The barista is super friendly and he remembered us and our order after only a visit or two. The decor is really cute with high ceilings and an antique farmhouse vibe. Nice place to chill out for a bit and relax. The only downside is I often wished they were open past 5 pm so I can get my after dinner coffee fix!

The most beautiful coffee shop my husband and I have been to, and we have been to many. We love visiting small towns and checking out their coffee shops, and The Farmhouse is like nothing we have ever seen. The owner has such a kind heart and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot to enjoy coffee and study or read a book. Next door they offer a great merchandise store, wonderful pieces for home, clothing, and jewelry.

Absolutely love the Farmhouse, especially its atmosphere, and friendly service. Pastries are delicious. Plus, we are renting the Bistro for a bridal shower and Tammy, the owner, has been so helpful and accommodating to our request. And we did a lot of price comparisons in the county for renting a venue, by far the best price there is.
Would absolutely recommend the Farmhouse for a venue site.

The store side, so much to see and love every item. Customer service is friendly. She offers a lot of unique gift items, or your home items that are crafted by some real talented artisans. There is something there foe everybody.
Definitely will be doing my Christmas shopping there, plus all year long shopping.

Wow!! This is a must visit in Sylva!!! The coffee is out of this world, the atmosphere is so warm, calling and inviting. The shop attached is amazing and full of must have items! Will for sure to redecorate my house with goodies! The staff were so polite and helpful! Will be back for sure! Can't wait to dive into that pastry case!!!

This was my first time here. I had a mocha frappe and a bagel 🥯. Had a great time visiting with two other friends. Prices are reasonable and it has rustic feeling to it. The other half of the business has a wonderful quaint little gift shop.

An absolutely delightful Coffee shop in the historic downtown of Sylva. The coffee shop is a fabulous place for working or chilling with a book in one of the many sitting spaces. The interiors of the shop are well thought out and are well worth checking out like you would an exhibit at a museum.
Burying the lead, Dogs are welcome at the coffee shop!!!
We had an iced vanilla latte and a cold peppermint tea. Yummy!
So when visiting the Smokies if you find a hankering for good coffee and an Instagrammable coffee shop make your way to Farmhouse!

My favorite coffee shop in the area! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The violet latte was an especially delicious treat! Comfortable Christian atmosphere and wonderful shop!

Great menu of coffees & sweets! Perfect for breakfast or an afternoon treat. The mercantile shop has some great finds also. Excellent staff, super helpful and so kind. Very cute shop that adds to the quaint feel of Sylva.
