Very nice store. Good coffee. Nice and knowledgeable staff. They did an excellent job grooming my dachshund and he's always happy when they're done. The prices for grooming are quite reasonable too. Thanks.

First visit today. Victoria did a wonderful job on my Golden/Collie mix. Terrific grooming-very detailed. Also very gentle and kind with dogs. Will definitely return for next grooming. A genuinely nice group of people.

We stopped in to get some coffee and a couple treats for our Mini Schnauzer Sammie on our way to the park. We received a friendly greeting when entering and the woman (possibly the owner?) at the counter was super attentive during our visit. The coffee she made us was delicious and she even (patiently) hand fed Sammie a pup cup before we left. He was so happy to have made a new friend! We highly recommend Muttigans and can't wait to stop in during our next visit!

Coffee and dogs?! Does it get any better...this place is awesome. It's a very cozy atmosphere and perfect start to the day (or mid day pick me up)! Every time I have gone the staff has been friendly and helpful--especially when I can't make up my mind with all their yummy options! It's our favorite coffee shop in the area, and by *our I mean mine and my dog's! She loves their many treat choices, and of course the pup cup! It's become a staple outing throughout the week. 10/10 would recommend!

This was the first and only place I have ever taken Willow to be groomed. Cara always takes amazing care of her and makes sure to give her so much love. I was nervous at first because Willow can be a handful but they are so patient and great with her. The prices are very reasonable and they offer so much.
There’s also great coffee and fun games in the shop. They have high quality food/treats/toys etc.
I will always recommend Muttigans.

This was the best experience at a groomer I’ve had in the 8 years of my dogs life. The shop and grooming parlor are clean and organized and staff is friendly and experienced. I will be taking my dog back regularly to keep him as beautiful as he looked today when I picked him up. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great grooming experience for their pet to visit here.

This is such a cute shop. The prices were incredibly fair, and they had a good selection of toys, treats, food, and care items. The coffee is incredibly tasty. I ordered a hot Americano black, and I couldn't be more pleased. I also had a pina colada smoothie, which was also delicious. The woman at the register was kind and patient as I decided I needed to order multiple things, and my drinks were made very quickly. I will definitely be back, and I can't wait to do my dogs' holiday shopping here.

While the staff was extremely nice, I wish the grooming would’ve been a little better. My wife took our three dogs in, it was our puppies first time getting groomed so she was extremely scared and since she hasn’t been without us much, that made her more stressed. The staff was kind and reassuring about this but seemed like they were trying to rush her, and didn’t do as well as they could’ve, as she didn’t get a bandana, almost didn’t get her nails done, and a couple days later ended up with bacteria infection in her ear.

This place always has my dogs food and the staff are wonderful.

I took my two very large Alaskan Malamutes to Muttigans Grooming in Swansboro - they are fantastic. My dogs came out clean and deshedded and beautiful. Best dog groomers for large breeds - hands down.
Ask for Cara, she groomed my 162 pound Gus like never before. wonderful.
