BEADS & BEANS OBX

The best espresso around! Some object to mandatory masks which I totally understand as their efficiency (for the masks most use) is at best suspect, but the businesses are only trying to obey (even silly) mandates. Support local businesses like this great one. Great coffee!!

A MUST for those that love coffee, homemade cinnamon rolls, and handmade treasures. I treated myself (which is something Mama never does) and purchased two lovely handcrafted jewelry made from sea glass. I highly recommend Beads & Beans!

Can't imagine what would inspire a negative review of this establishment... those people must have walked in looking to find fault or flat out left a review for the wrong shop.

Coffee was subpar. Cashier was extremely cranky. All the owners google responses to criticism on these reviews is extremely derogatory and condescending which thoroughly reflects the treatment you will receive while visiting. Beware the negative vibes. Don’t let it ruin your day like it did mine

I am a tourist, and while looking for a place to get coffee I stumbled across Beads and Beans. And I couldn't be more happy that I went! The coffee was absolutely delicious, the people friendly! Then the atheistic of the place was amazing! Couldn't recommend more!

Our family visits OBX every year and Beads and Beans has become a business we have added as a staple while on the island. I have to say that we have never had anything less than stellar experience every time we’ve visited this business. What really impressed me personally about this business is how the owner stands up to people who leave poor reviews for the most absurd reasons.

Iced latte was great! Love the bead and charm selection, good prices too. Excellent service and nice conversation with the young lady from Czech Republic that was working there for the season! Extremely polite and personable, customer care at its best!!

The owner was amazing! She helped me with searching for everything I needed for my friend and my children. My children are special needs and overstimulate in buildings. She was so great with them and patient. As for their drinks... beyond yummmmm! The view from their store is nice as well. The bonus or perks if you prefer to call it; An overlook of the water across the street, handcrafting memories, coffee, deserts, ice cream, and even gifts for your loved ones! Thank you Beads and Beans for the wonderful experience! You are now my new favorite store! Ps, the Elvis was yummy!

We never got the coffee. We walked in the front door. The girl said to my husband you need to wear a mask. He told her politely he could not. (I was wearing mine.) She very rudely said that I could order but he had to leave the store. We turned around and walked back out. Went right down the road and got our coffee no problem with the mask issue. There is a right and wrong way to handle this situation right now. This is not the right way.
