BEADS & BEANS OBX

Rode our bikes to Beads and Beans this morning for coffee. This is a nice coffee and pastry shop with crystals, beads and trinkets. We only got drinks but the pastries look amazing. I hope i get back to try one. There are a couple of places to sit outside on the porch but really no seating otherwise.

Stopped here for breakfast since it was within walking distance of our rental house. We got there just in time as some items were sold out. They only sell a certain number of items each day so I suggest you arrive early so you don’t miss out.

We went a Howard Jack for a drink and it was good. For food we had chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls and banana nut muffins. Everything was good and prices were great for the food we had.

Friendly service! Delicious croissant and specialty lemonade. Lots of cute gifts and things too. I like that they're open 'til "noonish" and were still open after noon when we arrived. We will be back next time we're in town.

Visited shop for the first time a couple of weeks ago, when i stayed at the KOA for a weekend camping trip. I got there late in the afternoon, but since it was off-season, I managed to snag a couple of chocolate muffins, and a cinnamon roll. They did not disappoint! Very yummy!! The shop is super cute with fun, unique items. I'll be back for sure!

My wife and I were visiting Rodanthe for the weekend. Coffee and breakfast is always at the top of my priority list when vacationing! Beads and Beans was right up the road from where we were staying. We were very pleased with Beads and Beans! The coffee was good, the baked goods (especially the cinnamon rolls) were delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful (even had our coffee order memorized after the 3rd day)!

The shop is so adorable and their cinnamon rolls and coffee were so delicious but I can’t give it a 5 because of the older lady with brown hair who helped us acted like she hated people which is sad because people are their business. If we didn’t have her grumpy attitude I would have given it 5 stars easily.

Fave coffee shop! Delicious espresso drinks and pastries with the cutest gift shop with local artists work. The owner and staff are so friendly and provide quick service. Been coming to rodanthe for 30 years and always make a point to shop and support the locals!

Just here for a week and this was my favorite part of every day! The coffee and danishes were out of this world! We had something different every morning! This is a family owned business and they made me feel the most welcomed all week. Before I even made it in the store I went on Facebook for the menu, and I noticed this negative review. I’m nosy, I dug in and read on. People can be so mean and act so unconcerned about who’s feelings they might be hurting. I had to see for myself. I guess to each their own. I loved it here and was greeted every day with a smile and what I feel is the real “them”! Sadly I’m on my way back home and I miss them already!

for the hundreds of times ive been there and for the picky person i am, they always make my drinks perfect!

Excellent coffee! Best dirty chai I've ever had. Cool atmosphere, tons of neat things.
