Books and Beans

Stopped here on my way through town and I was blown away. The staff were wonderfully pleasant and incredibly accommodating, coffee was exceptional, and the food... Oh the food. Honestly this was one of the most pleasant accidental discoveries I've had, and I encourage anyone passing through or living nearby to make this a regular stop on your journey or daily routine.

This is one of my favorite spots when I'm in Rocky Mount. They have the best coffee I have ever had and their breakfast options are all delicious. The staff is always very polite and friendly. 100% recommend stopping here.

Great cafe. The milk tea was amazing. Definitely worth popping in there if your driving past on 64.

Amazing coffee shop! The vibes there are great to just hang out with a friend, do some homework, or simply relax while drinking some coffee. The coffee is amazing, and the cinnamon rolls are to die for! Truly love this place.

It's not every day that you get to enjoy the best latte of your life while chatting with a New York Times Bestselling author. I drive to Books and Beans about once a month from Wake Forest for the dirty chai and the beautiful, light atmosphere. I've tried to find an equivalent latte in Raleigh but have yet to find it. This place is truly a gem and worth a day trip to enjoy the food (The Hemingway is my favorite sandwich though the Hamlet is a close second and they have amazing GF bread) and walk around the amazing Rocky Mount Mills campus.

What a cool coffee shop! Very nice ladies behind the counter. Bright interior with a variety of tables, couch, bar at the window, and outside tables. Of course the coffee was great, and they have books available if you need one!

Books and Beans is unlike any other coffee shop I’ve ever visited that truly combines amazing pieces of literature with equally exquisite coffee. I’ve never had a latte so smooth as the ones served up by Etaf and her staff. Speaking on the staff, they’re customer service is of the same aforementioned quality.

Excellent and friendly barista there. Delicious egg/bacon/cheese on a fresh roll.
I forgot to ask, but it appears that the books are there for a person to read while there, not to purchase. But Good idea!

Great Venue for a private event!

Had the first event here for our friends baby shower and it was perfect! Brandon and Etaf were so easy to work with and helped us create a menu based on the (picky) baby mamas needs. The space is gorgeous so we needed very little decoration. Highly recommend - and excited to come back to buy a book and have a cup of coffee in the future :)

Tried their latte' for ther first time, it was so good, I had to order another after I finished. Much smoother and more flavor than Starbucks IMO. The owners Brandon and Etaf were so welcoming and friendly. Kudos to them! Cheers!
