Only had the Vietnamese iced coffee so far but the espresso for the drink was pulled perfectly and tasted great. The drink was super delicious and presented in a few way--letting you mix and pour into a fun snifter with ice. Super cool vibe inside cafe and great little outdoor seating as well. They serve Joe Van Gogh coffee which I think is the best roaster in the area. And they are open later, especially on a Sunday which is almost impossible to find in the Triangle.

Excited to work my way through their menu and excited that they now have their liquor license. Thanks y'all!

Ordered a *hot* mocha & paid $6. It was not even warm & the taste is terribe. I waited in line to see if I could get it microwaved so at least I could drink some of it. Line was moving so slow & I was already over this place.
...literally just gave $6 away bc that drink went rite in the trash

There are some great things about this place as noted in other reviews, but a coffee shop that can’t handle custom orders is not a good coffee shop. Other places prove how easy it is, but even a simple request of no sugar was not possible here. This place just isn’t set up to make anything other than exactly how it’s pre-mixed to be.

Best place in Raleigh to read/study if they didn’t close so darn early. Love them tho

Latte was all foamy, no taste. It was like drinking air, so much foam. Also, they served the coffee in paper cup instead of real cups. I was not asked if for staying in or take out, very rushed. The last time I came it was perfect. Music is a bit too loud. Ask for receipt they do not give it automatically. It is needed for internet.

Amazing coffee place in downtown Raleigh that is lighthearted and fun. Don’t try it but ask them about the espresso cookie to prank your own friends in the future.

I didn’t know it was possible for chicken salad to be dry until I ate here. Coffee is good tho

Heart & Honey <3

Edited again, prices have increased and quality has gone down. I've had the heart and honey (now for $6.50) two times this week each time it tasted completely different. I failed to sip until I got to car. Since this is what I go for, I honestly can't see myself going back anytime soon. Too inconsistent and pricey.

Edit #1
However recently they have been out of many ingredients for extended time. They seem to always be training new people too. Recently the cashier wanted to charge me .60 per pump of Carmel syrup we were adding to the iced coffee. Which is outrageous. I ordered something new instead.

Wish they had Togo menus or menu boards so you can think about what you want before getting to register. Would make the line go faster too during busy times. Edited, they now have to go menus.

Also kombucha is labeled $4.50 for spiked... but later after ordered it we were told that's a to go price. Not spiked.

Growing pains, lots of amazing potential. Please just keep heart and honey and milk tea on the menu. Still my favorite dtr place to get drinks.

Perfect place to stop for a treat while walking downtown Raleigh. There is plenty of parking near by (in a lot and in a deck) though you will pay for it. I loved the vibe of the place--they had fresh flowers all over. This is the Walter Raleigh coffee with cold brew and cream. I would like to come back and check out their cocktails offered.

Warm atmosphere, friendly baristas, and easy to get work done without headphones 🤙
