Sir Walter Coffee

I had a salmon bagel. It was great. It's very busy place. Parking is very hard to find. I enjoyed the friendly staff ☺️

Best coffee shop to study or work!

Service? Wonderful. They give you your order quickly and are down-to-earth.

WiFi? Fast enough to be dangerous (50mbps download)

Atmosphere? Chill, young professional.

Chairs? Comfy. There is even a high table which is the perfect height for a standing desk.

Definitely recommend if you're in Downtown Raleigh and need to get some work done.

My first time at Sir Walter Coffee, though it's a favorite of my daughter, who works as a barista at the museum. It was fantastic! The ambiance is stellar, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to maintain safe distance for COVID-19. The staff was super friendly; Rimi & David provided excellent service!! I had a Sir Walter favorite, "The Walter Raleigh." It's a decadent, shaken cold brew with mocha and vanilla sweet cream; perfect for a hot and humid Raleigh day. Bonus - there's free street parking directly out front, unexpected downtown, but a pleasant surprise. I'll definitely visit Sir Walter Coffee again.

Finally tried this place out and I have to say I may be addicted. The Sir Walter Six espresso drink is not for beginners. The chedder chive biscuits are so delicious you may have to put it in your food budget. Can't wait to come back.

Came here on a casual Saturday morning with my friends. The atmosphere is relaxing with soothing music in the background. My main issue was the 20+ minute wait for my breakfast sandwich during breakfast hours. Overall a good experience but I wouldn't come if you're short on time.

Super fresh coffee. Beers later on in the day.Cassandra and Maddie were super helpful, as I was in town for a few hours. The place is super clean & has outdoor seating also. I was in AC mode as I had a suitcase with me today.

Great local spot with unique drinks. The food is great quality and the staff is super nice. When in downtown Raleigh this is a must stop in general but great for breakfast!
