My fiancé and I have regularly supported and have referred people here. It is not convenient for us (location wise), nor the best atmosphere (the music can oftentimes be loud) but nonetheless we love supporting small businesses and particularly coffee shops.
We will be taking our business elsewhere though now because after entering and sitting for just 20 minutes we were told we could not stay unless we ordered something. This was in addition to being asked to wear a mask when not a single other (non staff) person in the coffee shop was wearing one. I am happy to wear one unless I am not the only one being asked to wear one. Hope this behavior is not common for most people.

This coffee shope is so cute and the cherry marzipan latte was so good!! The vibe was on point and Sam behind the counter was amazing! I'm a little bummed I couldn't try the rosemary latte BUT I will definitely be back and try it then.

Very bad. Waited 45 minutes for coffee, standing like 8 feet from the register, staring/watching them waiting because coffee is quick. I asked for my drinks twice, 2 drinks that were on the menu. Found out today my family members also had bad service here. Also the coffee is over priced bc it’s just average coffee and the special flavors aren’t that good from the few I tried. We also vowed to never return after waiting 45 mins for the coffees. Also, we lived across the street so we really tried to like this place.

Cool vive cafe to do work😊.

Great new Raleigh coffee shop, easy to miss but cool vibe inside and really helpful staff. Good selection of drinks with some interesting options in addition to the standard coffee drinks

As someone who primarily shops in small/independent coffee shops, I found this one to be pretentious and expensive ($28 bag of coffee beans). But also the coffee was weak and trasted like olives(???).

Such a wonderful spot! Coffee quality is excellent, flavor combos + new drinks are always incredible, and the baristas are lovely, talented and kind. Absolutely worth it!

Iris is a hidden gem of Glenwood South 💗 Their coffee beans come from Black & White Coffee Roasters, which makes any coffee drink delicious... but the house made flavors made at Iris take my drinks to a whole new level! My go-to drink is definitely their rosemary latte.😍
Recently, they released some of their food program - it’s all gluten free, healthy and leaves me full (but wanting more, of course!). I typically get the “Iris Avocado” toast with my rosemary latte, but I also love their other offerings ☺️ Iris is a friendly, hip place that is perfect for hanging out (safely) with friends, working or reading a book. Swing by Iris, you won’t regret it!

Iris checks all the boxes: great coffee, friendly people, and a cool atmosphere. Everyone who works here never fails to strike up an interesting conversation and they're not afraid to try new things, so there's always something interesting to try on the menu.
Whether you're planning to stay a while or take it to go, definitely make Iris your next stop for coffee.

I’m always on the hunt for excellent nitro cold brew and Iris is one of my favorite spots in Raleigh. Plus, their staff is insanely friendly. Solid place to get some caffeine.
